Sheraton Taitung Hotel Reviews

Probably one of the most beautiful hotel I’ve stayed in Taiwan. The overall environment is pleasant, and the breakfast has a lot of options too. The location is also right in the centre of a local market, the hotel also have free bike rental service.

Hotel is really nice. Modern clean and in a central location. The room was ok but for one fault, there was no separation between the bathroom and the room. Everything else was superb! Highly recommend this hotel.

Pillow too soft. Best if choices are given. The staff service are generally cold. Service has a lot of room for improvement.

Pool was under maintenance during the period of stay. Location though at night market was still a distance away from railway station. Taxi fare abt TWD220. There was hotel shuttle service but no clear instructions on how to book in advance. Info not available on trip.com. Concierge staff did not readily offer the service also. Was told only available to members. Not for 3rd party booking. Am disappointed. Room was spacious. 2 queen size beds. But toilet and bathroom were small. Head will hit the door if I sit at toilet bowl and lean just a bit forward. The bathroom door hits the rain shower head, so if not notice, and open the door with force may break the glass door. Yellow lights in the room were very dim. Make ambience cozy and classy but very straining to the eyes. 2 out of 3 laundry machines out of order. Laundry powder did not dispense from vending machine. Hv to change coins at lobby when laundry is at 6th floor. Overall, not quite up to expectations unfortunately.

Sheraton Taitung definitely helped make Taitung more interesting. Love the hot bath area despite not hotspring water.

Best hotel to choose if you want to stay a few days in Taitung. The location is perfect. On a few days a week there is a big night market next to the hotel entrance.  They have bicycles available to go around. The staff at the front desk, restaurant and bar are very friendly helpful. We like our stay and strongly recommend this hotel as best place to stay in Taitung.

5 stars international service level, downtown location is convenient for city walk.

Had a very comfortable stay. The soundproofing was excellent, and the breakfast was delicious.

The hotel has a great location and is well-maintained. The breakfast was delicious, and the room was lovely. It was a wonderful memory in Taitung.

We stayed one night only and missed the night market, but hotel is well located with fruits retailers all away and easily accessible to ferry and train station. Hotel is clean and room size is big, staff services is also kind and helpful. Breakfast is also good with lot of local cuisines available. One of the best choices in local area we reckon.

We were on the 11th floor that provided thrilling rides and views in the elevator. The laundry facility was clean, inexpensive and efficient. There’s an auditorium, very nice for community events. The breakfast buffet is outstanding with many selections of both Asian and Western choices, all of it delicious. The fitness area is very nice and I wish we’d had time to enjoy the spa. The city views were nice and we could almost see the ocean. Robes and slippers were cozy. Would definitely stay again.

The hotel offered free parking which is great but was a bit difficult to find the parking entrance due to the constructions going on around the hotel. Location was nice, in the city center and peaceful nearby. The buffet breakfast was amazing, a variety of choices from western cuisine to local cuisine. The room was clean and neat as well.
