Utopia Hostel

This hostel has a great common area where you can chat and socialize with other backpackers. It's located downstairs, so it doesn't disturb those sleeping in the dorms. Bonus: there are cats! They offer instant coffee, which is a nice touch. You can get a stamp here, too. Laundry facilities and drying space are available. Each room has small lockers for your belongings. It's very close to the Shanhai Iron Horse Road, definitely worth checking out! And while you're there, you can easily pop over to Cheela's cabin for coffee!

The staff were very rude. I called to ask if I could check in early and the response was very impatient.

Overall, the stay was quite pleasant. The environment and facilities were well-maintained, and the room was very comfortable. Before check-in, the staff called to confirm if I could arrive within the estimated time, but I missed the call. Since it was my first time using the self-check-in system, it took me a while to figure it out. Although the app interface allowed me to complete the check-in process, it lacked clear instructions or step-by-step guidance, leaving me a bit unsure of what to do next. Eventually, I managed to complete the check-in independently. However, if a simple pictorial guide could be provided before arrival, or if staff could pay more attention to first-time users at the property, I believe the check-in experience would be much smoother. Overall, I was satisfied with the accommodation, and I appreciate the staff's assistance.

Close to the city center, convenient living facilities, and a reasonable price.
