## Check-in Convenience: The self-check-in machine on the first floor was out of order, so I had to walk a little to the right to the manned front desk for check-in. ## Environment: Located right next to the Taitung Transfer Station, the location is super convenient. There are also many markets and restaurants nearby, making it easy to get around. ## Service: The front desk staff were very friendly and even helped me call a taxi, which I really appreciated. ## Hygiene: However, I wouldn't recommend the single rooms overall. Firstly, there's no elevator, so travelers with luggage should seriously consider this. Secondly, the lighting and ventilation are poor. Since multiple people live together, you have to consider everyone's lighting habits. In hostels I've stayed at in Taipei, the main lights were centrally controlled, and you could decide whether to turn on your own bedside lamp. So, staying here really depends on the quality of your roommates. Thirdly, there are no clear rules about wearing slippers in the common areas, which means it relies entirely on self-awareness. Some people follow it, some don't, making it hard to control the cleanliness of the floors. Fourthly, the wet/dry separation in the shower room is practically non-existent; showering makes the area around the toilet wet. P.S. The bubble tea shop downstairs is really good! 👍

The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. Our stay was very comfortable, and the location near the Taitung Transfer Station is super convenient, plus it's close to the city center. The hygiene was also top-notch. I hope to return to Taitung soon!

The location is right next to the transit station, offering many route options whether you're coming from the train station or heading to the suburbs, though bus frequencies are low. There's also a paid parking lot across the street, which is convenient if you're driving. Nearby, you'll find department stores, a cinema, a night market, and a regular market, making it very lively with excellent amenities. The hotel uses a fully self-check-in system with no staff visible on site. There's only one check-in machine, placed a bit out of the way, which I didn't notice immediately upon arrival. After completing the process, you receive a password to open the main door. There's no elevator, and the male dorm room is on the 4th floor. The only common facility is a water dispenser. The toilet is located inside the room and combined with the shower. If all beds are occupied, you might have to wait to use the bathroom. The room size is decent, and the bed is quite comfortable. Overall, it's a reasonably comfortable stay, especially for a solo traveler for one or two nights, and the price is affordable. However, if you have concerns about shared bathroom facilities, I'd advise against visiting during peak season!

The self check-in kiosk is convenient, but I was almost double-charged despite having already paid online. I was stuck because I couldn't proceed without selecting a payment method (cash or card), but then a staff member came to help me check in. So, the self check-in didn't really serve its purpose. The room was standard.
