I booked two rooms on Ctrip, and the front desk told me to download the Huazhu App to upgrade the room type. I don’t know exactly what the difference was when I booked it, and I couldn’t verify it. I gave him two mobile phones and downloaded it, and the front desk went to operate it! When I checked in, the front desk was focused on promoting apps and hotel mini-programs, without introducing the hotel's information in detail, so I asked myself if the drinks in the minibar were free. My room is close to the High Price Bridge and the windows are not well insulated. It was noisy for two nights and the air conditioner in the room was very weird. It was very hot whether it was turned on or not. It also smelled like decoration and my throat hurt!

Kempinski Hotel Taiyuan is located in the south commercial center of Taiyuan, many of the city's best shopping centers are all within walking distance, also with easy access to the Shanxi International Expo Center and Shanxi Sports Center, 7 km to the South Railway Station and 12 km to Wusu International Airport.

We stayed at the hotel for one night, while going from Pingyao to Zhangjiajie. We arrived at the train station in the evening, and had to take the train the following morning. The hotel offers pickup and drop-off which was very convenient and comfortable. The room was clean and tidy, with snacks, tea and all the furnitures we could need. The staff was SO helpful: they ordered some food for us (everything on the app was in mandarin and we couldn't understand how to do it ourselves), recommended some local favorites, and delivered it to our room. They also helped us do laundry even though it was late in the evening, so we had clean clothes to continue our trip. All in all, our stay was excellent, and I couldn't recommend the hotel more.

This hotel is absolutely beautiful and I had a very pleasant stay there. The room I had was tastefully decorated, luxurious and super comfortable. The amenities were all top rated: I was particularly happy to have a Dyson hairdryer in the room! But what made my stay there so enjoyable was the 6-star service offered by the Hotel’s manager Darcy and her team. They were super professional, friendly and attentive, and went the extra mile to make sure that the set up in my room met my requirements and that I had a great time in Taiyuan.  The breakfast spread was sumptuous and the food was delicious.

這是近期最滿意的一次住宿體驗，從進門到退房全程舒心。大堂裝修雅緻，工作人員無論前台還是保潔都面帶微笑，迴應需求特別及時，入住時想要額外的枕頭，5 分鐘就送到房間，還輕聲詢問是否需要其他幫助。 房間設施很新，高清電視、高速 WiFi 一應俱全，熱水供應穩定且水温適宜。最驚喜的是衞生細節，床單被套沒有絲毫污漬，洗漱台和馬桶光潔如新。酒店自帶免費停車場，車位充足，對自駕出行太友好了。距離商圈打車十幾分鍾就到了。距離南站和機場特別近，還有接站接機服務。這樣的服務和環境，性價比堪稱滿分，已經推薦給朋友了！

타이위안 시내에서 타이위안 남역을 지나서 신영 이라는 곳에 위치하고 있습니다. 호텔 내부는 참 깨끗하고 시설이 좋은데, 버스내려 들어가는 길 200미터가 더럽고 지저분합니다. 이곳은 중소 호텔들 밀집 지역임에도 거리의 청결에 더 관심을 가져야합니다. 호텔과 룸 내부는 쾌적하고 모든 시설이 완벽합니다. 1박에 6.5만원 정도인데 교통이 좀 불편한 것 외에는 모든 것이 완벽합니다. 타이위안에는 역사유적지가 참 많습니다. 서주시대 당숙우와 읍강을 기리는 진사를 비롯해 천룡산 석굴, 유차노성, 산서박물관, 북제벽화박물관, 순양궁, 문묘, 쌍탑사 등 엄청난 유적지를 보유한 곳이며, 이곳 모두 저는 방문을 마쳤습니다. 옛 진양이었던 타이위안은 삼진이 분리되어 전국시대로 넘어가는 그 본토이기도 해 역사를 공부, 확인하는 저에게는 타이위안 방문은 흥분이었습니다. 다만 진양고성유지가 아직 완공 이전인지 찾지 못했습니다. 태원고현성 이라는 곳을 갔으나, 빈터와 칸막이로 막아두고 있었습니다. 한국에서 타이위안 방송보고 15년을 기다려 타이위안을 방문한 저는 한국에 돌아와서 이 글을 쓰는 지금도 꿈만 같습니다. 아..! 진사..인류의 어머니 읍강님에게 경의를 표합니다. 자식들과 후손들을 위해 끝내 마르지 않은 샘물을 선사하고 가신 우리 모두의 어머니...더불어 한국 노인 한 명이 여행을 잘 할까..노심초사하면서 온갖 편의를 제공했던 호텔 직원분들께 감사드립니다. 방은 넓고 청결했으며, 여행을 하기에 쾌적한 시설이었습니다.
