The hotel's design and ambiance are excellent, and the staff are very welcoming. We got an upgrade to a garden room, which was spacious with a great view of the mountains – absolutely stunning! The breakfast and late-night snacks offered a good variety, and the location is fantastic, making it easy to get anywhere. This hotel definitely offers great value for money. Highly recommend!

My stay at Jiaojiang 1982 Hotel far exceeded my expectations – I genuinely recommend it! The cultural heritage and vibrant local life of Jiaojiang are captivating. The old streets and alleys hide authentic flavors, and the hotel is within walking distance of the Garden Vegetable Market, offering a dazzling array of fresh seafood and local snacks. Specialties like 'qian gao' (glutinous rice cake) and 'mai you jian' (fried wheat pancake) left a lasting impression, truly a culinary feast in a 'city of mountains and seas.' The hotel's dining was equally surprising. The breakfast featured freshly cooked noodles and made-to-order Taizhou specialty snacks, complemented by freshly ground coffee and fresh fruit – the quality rivals that of a five-star hotel. What's even more heartwarming is the staff's genuine hospitality, from their smiling greetings upon check-in to proactively recommending dining routes and even preparing portable breakfasts for guests catching early flights. Their warmth and attentiveness felt just like family. The room comfort was perfect! The New Chinese design incorporates mountain and sea elements, and the fully smart amenities are convenient and thoughtful. The King Koil mattress paired with a choice of four pillows ensured a great night's sleep. The bathroom with a separate wet and dry area and a smart toilet...

I chose Hampton by Hilton in Taizhou for the Charlie Zhou concert, mainly because of the shuttle bus right next to the hotel. It certainly didn't disappoint! Upon checking in, I received Charlie Zhou merchandise, and there was a large standee at the entrance for fans to take photos with – so thoughtful! The breakfast selection was also fantastic, with a wide variety of both Chinese and Western pastries. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Taizhou! The most considerate gesture was on the second day when it poured rain during the concert; the hotel prepared ginger tea. A thousand thumbs up! 👍🏻

This hotel is about a 20 minute walk away from Jiazhi Old Street, and there are convenience stores nearby plus small restaurants toward the river. Check in was smooth, all the staff were polite and warm, and my room was very comfortable and had some extra toiletries. The breakfast selection changed a bit each day, which was appreciated. The laundry room has two washing machines and two dryers. Beside the elevators there was mosquito spray and wipes for glasses and camera lenses....A thoughtful selection of items for guests to use 😎

Overall, the Yunduli Hotel is quite good. It has complete facilities, a beautiful environment with nice views, and a good breakfast. The butler service was warm and attentive. We were there to see a Shen Shen concert, and the hotel's shuttle service was very thoughtful. Plus, it's very close to the stadium, making for a pleasant stay. Recommended.

The rustic decor is unique, and the robot delivery service is a lifesaver. Breakfast is clean and tasty, making for a comfortable stay overall. The disposable toiletries provided peace of mind, and the room was clean and odor-free. Parking was convenient, and the front desk staff were very welcoming. The self-service breakfast was warm and satisfying, and the freshly ground coffee added a wonderful touch to the atmosphere. The service was attentive and thorough. As a returning guest, I'm still very satisfied with my second stay.

This is a relatively well-known five-star hotel in Taizhou. The lobby is spacious, but the rooms are on the smaller side. It's been renovated, so it doesn't feel old, and the facilities are decent, nothing extraordinary. However, the front desk service was terrible – arguably the worst I've encountered in years. We had two rooms booked with an elderly person and a baby, and we specifically requested them to be on the same floor. Despite the hotel not being very busy (it was after the Chinese New Year period), they insisted on putting us on two different floors. Any normal hotel would at least offer a complimentary upgrade for one of the rooms (to a similar-looking room, not necessarily a much better one), but the front desk staff seemed extremely reluctant. After much back and forth, we finally got into our rooms, only to find one had a faucet that leaked like a waterfall when turned on. How can such a significant facility bug go unmaintained and unrecorded by the hotel? Did they want to put us through all this trouble? And then they claimed there were no other rooms available and were unwilling to upgrade us… After over an hour of this ordeal, we were starving. The check-out experience was even more bizarre. We were all packed and ready to check out when we discovered our baby had pooped and needed a diaper change and a wash. Since the baby wasn't cooperating, we called guest services in advance to explain the situation and apologize for a potential 10-minute delay. The staff member said they would relay the message to the front desk and call us back. A few minutes later, guest services called back, saying the front desk insisted that even a one-minute late check-out would incur a charge… I was shocked. We travel frequently and have never encountered such a situation at any other hotel. I expressed my dissatisfaction over the phone. But the baby needed to be cleaned, so if they were going to charge, there was nothing we could do. Then, with just one or two minutes left until 2 PM, we received another call from the front desk urging us to check out… We frantically finished cleaning up, left the room a few minutes after 2 PM, and arrived at the front desk to check out at 2:10 PM. Although the front desk staff was busy with other things and didn't really pay attention, they ultimately didn't charge us. However, the entire experience was terrible. They were so unsympathetic. It wasn't a huge delay, just a few minutes, and we even called ahead, especially considering the special circumstances with a baby… Also, the hotel collected a 1000 RMB deposit from me, promising to refund it within half an hour of check-out. Yet, several hours after leaving the hotel, I still hadn't received the refund. I had to contact Trip.com customer service to get the deposit back. The front desk service, let alone being incomparable to a typical star-rated hotel, was far worse than even hotels like Huazhu Hotels Group's Mercure, Orange Hotel, or Crystal Orange. On the other hand, the housekeeping aunties and their supervisor were very good – extremely polite and understanding. If it weren't for them, my rating would have been even lower.

This is a new hotel, and the room was clean with all new facilities and equipment. The bed was big and comfortable enough. We brought our child, and a bathtub is a must-have for kids, so a bath in the room was very pleasant. The shower water was also very comfortable. The breakfast was quite rich, with both Chinese and Western options, and the view was also good. Taizhou has had sunny days these past two days, very hot, so we really didn't want to leave the hotel once we checked in. The front desk staff, Coco, was very enthusiastic and answered all our questions. The first stay experience was pretty good. It's a bit of a shame that the self-service laundry wasn't available due to staffing issues. Another regret is not visiting the nearby seafood stalls. We'll definitely come back next time.

I chose this hotel because it was close to the venue for Zhou Shen's concert in Taizhou. It's about a 10-15 minute walk. When checking in, they gave me a welcome gift bag with a small card of Zhou Shen and some sleep-enhancing items. The room environment was great, very clean, and all the facilities were in good condition. There was a 'tips' card already placed on the desk, which was very helpful! When ordering takeout, a robot delivers it to the room. The hotel's buffet breakfast had a wide variety of options, and everything tasted delicious. There were also plenty of dessert and drink choices. I especially loved the cucumber sparkling water!! Upon checkout, they even gave me a box of fruit. The front desk staff were all wonderful and very enthusiastic. Overall, it was a fantastic experience!!!

Came to Taizhou with friends this time and chose the Hilton, and the experience was absolutely fantastic! I especially want to commend Bruce's service; he was attentive, enthusiastic, and professional from check-in to check-out. The room was clean and spacious, and the city view from the window was amazing. The facilities were well-maintained, making for a super comfortable stay. The overall experience exceeded my expectations, and I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in Taizhou!
