This is the first time in 30 years of traveling I leave a bad review, but I’m astonished by the behavior of the manager/owner. I visited the resort on 27-29/12/2024. Place is ok (3/5), Service is quite ok (2.5/5 - rooms are not cleaned in the morning, for breakfast they need 1h to make literally a toast) and tours planned are amateur hour (guides and drivers don’t speak a single word in English). The worst part, which got me to write this review, is the manager behavior after we make her notice we had an issue during the boat trip in Kao Sok National Park organized by the resort: it’s a 2h private tour, but our guide passed 40’ at restaurant, eating and drinking with friends. The manager apologized, but at the moment of the bill, when we quietly pointed out it would be appreciated to receive a symbolic partial price reduction (1000 bat - less than 5%) as a compensation of the missed part of the tour, she had a rude and unprofessional reaction, screaming and creating a cringe/uncomfortable situation during all the stay. You will get it’s not about the money, it’s all about how to deal with people who had a bad experience. If you come here, I hope you will not need any kind of support or anything to complain about, or you might have to face the manager’s anger.
