Metropol Spa Hotel

The hotel is in a great area. The restaurant dinner is average, food ok. Shower excellent. We didn’t have time for the spa. The breakfast 19€ we didn’t choose. Ac isn’t enough cold. I feel bit warm in the room. No free water. No shampoo no lotion. No conditioner in bathroom. Just shower gel.

Over all the hotel is great. The service could have been a bit better, mainly the friendliness of the front desk.

Great location just outside the old town with restaurants, bars, convenience store at your doorstep. Supermarket nearby. Short walk to all the old town sites. Spa and sauna very clean and good choices (4 saunas only 2 were open when we went). Room good size, breakfast good selection and open till 11am.

I had a great stay at Metropool Spa Hotel and would happily come back. The location is excellent, making it easy to get around and explore the area. Breakfast was a real highlight — for €15 per person, it offered fresh fruits, good coffee, lactose-free milk, soy milk, and even salmon. Everything was fresh and well presented, making it a great start to the day. The spa facilities were also impressive. There’s a small swimming pool and four different types of saunas. My favorite was the Finnish sauna, where you can create löyly (a burst of steam) simply by pressing a button. While there’s no traditional cold plunge pool, there’s a cold water shower positioned right in front of the Finnish sauna, which worked perfectly for cooling down between sauna sessions. Overall, the combination of a comfortable stay, excellent breakfast, and relaxing spa made it a very enjoyable visit.
