Hestia Hotel Ilmarine

Not a great stay at this hotel which is a shame as it’s in a really good location and has the potential to be really good. Short walk to the old town and port area. The hotel was a former metalworking factory - I really liked the photos of the old factory. Our room was located on the 3rd floor and was comfortable. However, the air conditioning unit was located directly overhead and it switched on & off every 30 minutes. It was really loud which meant we had very little sleep on our first night. We complained at reception & asked to be moved to another room, only to be told there were no other rooms available & so we were advised to buy ear plugs! It felt like reception staff had no interest in resolving the issue. Although the hotel says it has a bar and restaurant these aren’t available as have been closed for some time. Breakfast at the hotel was ok - good range of items available.

This is a very nice and cozy hotel and walking distance to the old Tallin city. It is a 3 storey hotel. The rooms and bathrooms are both clean. Bed is soft and comfortable. The breakfast is fair. A good place to stay.

This hotel was booked for us as part of a cycling tour. The room and bathroom were both a decent size. We faced a courtyard which was relatively quiet. That was lucky because the AC didn’t work so we needed the window open all night. The hotel is located just outside the old town walls. It looks close but it’s a bit of walk uphill to get to any restaurants in old town. That said, we walked only 10 minutes to the passenger ferry terminal when we were heading to Helsinki. The hotel breakfast was great. Plenty of options and not too crowded. This hotel is a good option outside of old town.

I thoroughly enjoyed my short stay at the Ilmarine Hotel in Tallinn. The location is excellent – just a few minutes' walk from the Old Town and numerous restaurants. The Baltic Sea shore is also just a short walk away, perfect for pleasant strolls. Additionally, the airport is only a 15-minute drive away, which is very convenient. The value for money is really good. I particularly recommend the rooms that do not face the main street, as it can get a bit noisy otherwise. Overall, a very pleasant hotel that I would gladly recommend.

Good - Hotel was clean - Room was clean and quiet, temperature was ok can could ve adjusted. Room was facing the busy street but it didnt bother - Breakfast was good - Nice location near Kalamaja Bad - Reception service nonexistent, no greetings, no goodbyes, no nothing - As finns we didnt mind but for some others this might feel rude

The pictures don’t do any justice but this is a very good hotel for the price point. It’s clean, offers a decent breakfast and located a short walk from both the port and Tallinn old town. Hotel staff are friendly and accommodating. Would recommend for anyone looking for a non fussy stay in Tallinn.

Well located near the harbour, Rotermann and the city centre. Quite a basic hotel, but clean and functional rooms and a good breakfast. Parking (10€/24h) on the courtyard and a free gym for hotel guests. Definitely a good choice to stay in Tallinn.

The hotel was very clean and so was our room and it was also spacious. The air conditioning worked well which is important in the summer. The only minus was the very hot bathroom floor. I set the temperature to the minimum but it didn't help at all. Breakfast was good and it wasn't crowded any morning. We stayed there for four nights.

Conveniently located, clean standard rooms, great breakfast, friendly staff, within a walking distance to the Old Town, sea front and 1 min away from a supermarket. Good gym, strong WiFi, straightforward check in/check out. A great place to stay at
