Old Town Munkenhof Guesthouse - Hostel

Stayed two nights at this property. Situates right in the old town of the beautiful Tallinn. Within 10-15 minutes walking distance to and form Tallinn port, train station (if you travel light). The place was clean, guest kitchen was spacious with plenty of pots, pants, etc. Dinning room was pleasant and the Netflix, game room was a bonus.

Pros: -the location is good, right in the old town Cons: -Not really clean, and I saw insects in the toilet -there are no curtains in the bed -after using the laundry service, my clothes became dusty

Fuss-free environment with full kitchen, cinema (at a charge), lounge area, and fussball table. Single rooms are on the top (4th) floor and there is no lift, so be prepared to climb a bit. Toilet/showers are clean and spacious. Single rooms come with a wardrobe and tables to place stuff. Bath towel is provided. There is hair dryer in each toilet/shower. The location is perfect, near Prisme supermarket, MacD, Viru gate, Viru bus and tram stops, and Old Hansa restaurant in the old town.

Super cosy common room and game room. Bright spacious kitchen. Superb location

Stayed here for 3 nights and had a good experience. The room was clean, and there was a large locker big enough to fit small luggage. I also appreciated having an electrical outlet near the bed. The bathroom was clean, and the hostel has a kitchen where you can cook your own meals. The location is excellent, right in the centre of the old town.

Great stay! Great service! Very clean! Great location! It's like Oh My God it's so crazy!!!

The location is perfect, it is exactly in the old town. The house is clean and tidy. Nevertheless the reception open late. I arrived at 11 o’clock and no one opened the door. If you have luggage with you, you should better have a number to call them or notice them in advance.

Quality comes with the price. Cleanness can be improved. Located in good location. Overall it was ok during the stay.

Some good vibes there from fellow visitors, when I was there. Everybody was respectful, staff and fellow guests, so felt completely at ease and safe. There was one incident where somebody seemed to be trying to forcefully enter through the front door in the early hours. Not sure if this was a guest or a local. Don't be tempted to let them in if it happens. Something to be mindful of but this can obviously happen anywhere.
