Zinc Old Town Hostel Tallinn

I stayed here alone in a 6-bed dormitory with shared bathroom facilities. The shower was clean and not too cramped. No elevator, so it was a bit of a trek with luggage.

Excellent location in the Old Town, with pubs, restaurants, and shops just around the corner, everything is close by. The rooms are clean and quite spacious. The kitchen and bathrooms are large and clean. The host is hospitable, and the "old lady" is always helpful. The room has a lamp and a power outlet by the bed. The lockers are coded (no need to bring your own key). I recommend this place for a budget stay in Tallinn.

Renata was very attentive and dedicated. The hostel was very clean and beautiful, in the city center. Everything was perfect. The only problem was the noise coming from the bar outside the hostel, which made it difficult to sleep.

To enter the hostel, you need a passcode for the door on the first floor, but even after entering the code they sent me, it wouldn't open. I waited outside in the cold until someone from another store on the first floor finally opened it for me, but it was past check-in time and no one was at the front desk. I called and someone finally came to the front desk, but even after I explained the situation, they said the code had changed that morning. I asked them why they hadn't sent me the code, but they just denied it was anything to do with us. Then, perhaps because they had received my complaint, they sent me the code later. Their service was sloppy and they didn't even apologize. I finally contacted the manager, but he was sloppy again and hung up on me multiple times. I'll never use such an unfriendly hostel again.

The toilet and shower were shared, but bath towels and toiletries were provided. There were no other amenities such as a kettle, refrigerator, or air conditioner, but I think it's fine if you're just looking for a place to sleep. There seems to be a club near the hostel, so it's a bit noisy late at night.
