Happy we booked this place for our trip in January. Very safe area and clean all the staff was helpful especially Robert he was a wonderful host. I definitely recommend having a mode of transportation if possible since it’s easier to get around town not having to rely on cabs. Look forward to staying there again on our next visit! Thanks!

We booked through the Interval International Getaway system. We knew this wasn't going to be in but near Tamarindo. Perfect for us. In Costa Rica, get a car! It's a 10 minute ride to downtown and then back to a quiet, safe 2 bedroom condo that is well stocked with all the appliances you'll need, nice pools and friendly service. The place is gated and guarded. Honestly, we traveled throughout this area of Costa Rica and never felt unsafe. Driving was crazy as there are people walking and biking directly on the side of the road. You have to be very, very alert! The rules of the road are suggestions, not laws, as best as I can tell. It may say 45kph, but 90 is ok too. Anyhow, here's our suggestions. For god's sake, get a bar at the pool with a small sandwich and grill shop. It is cheap to go to the local supermarket and get beer and booze but i don't have a cooler to take around and would have been happy to lounge at the pool more often if there was a bar. The TV has 2 English channels HBO GO and 1 Miami CBS station. We had a smart TV that had Netflix but wouldn't let me log out the Spanish user so I could log in. It also had mirroring that I couldn't get to work with my phone. Get these 2 things working and, on the occasion, when we were relaxing in the condo, it would have been nice. The internet was fine but only in the condo not throughout the complex.

I went with friends and I actually had a pretty good experience with the accommodation and the attention of the condominium team, I hope to return soon to have an experience equal to or better than this visit I made.
