Home2 Suites by Hilton Tampa - USF/Near Busch Gardens

The hotel is nice and clean, and coffee tea are available all day in the lobby, nice breakfast, very good location as we are visiting our kid in USF which is within walking distance. My only 2 complaints are that the pillows were very flat, and the parking cost $10 per day. We didn't read the fine print/policy, assuming it's free. We didn't need to park as my kid's car is parked in school campus across the street. We would have omitted the parking permit if we had known it cost extra. Next time, we will not get the parking permit.

This is good hotel

I did not stay. My room was not fully ready, my toilet did not work, the staff was unable to make room keys and had to let me in. They did not have another room available. The staff did not have answers or directions. I was left to fend for myself. ******* was not available for an actual conversation. The online chat and phone numbers could not help. I left the hotel and went to a sister hotel. My bank is currently disputing the charges because I had to pay in pull at the new hotel.

The staff was excellent. The room was also very nice. The only problem I had is that the water did not get real hot in the shower. Would definitely stay there again.

This hotel would easily rate five plus stars for the superb staff hospitality and efficiency, and for the comfort of the suite. The breakfast buffet was also a plus. Parking charge of $12.90 was a surprise but made sense given the location. The one drawback: Even though the hotel provided disposable foam earbuds on the nightstand, the nearly continuous heavy construction work on a large building across the street all night made sleep difficult. I would enjoy returning a few months in the future.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ “Move-In Weekend Survival Headquarters” We stayed at Home2 Suites across from USF for one night while helping our kid move into the dorms, and somehow they managed to make one of the most stressful weekends of the in year feel like a mini vacation. The lady at check-in deserves a raise, a trophy, and possibly her own parking space. She was incredibly friendly and explained every amenity with the enthusiasm of someone introducing us to a luxury resort instead of a hotel. Before we knew it, we were checked in, smiling, and already feeling better about tuition bills. The lobby was spotless and welcoming, and they even gave us complimentary water and chips at arrival. At that point I started wondering if I had accidentally booked a five-star resort. The room was fantastic. The bed was comfortable, the pillows were perfect, and the sofa bed had its own slide-out privacy curtain. Whoever designed that deserves recognition because they clearly understand family travel and the need to occasionally hide from each other. My favorite detail? They left earplugs next to the bed. That’s confidence right there. They’re basically saying, “You won’t need these, but we’re prepared for everything.” That’s the kind of planning I respect. To top it all off, they gave us a 1:00 PM checkout. After carrying boxes, assembling furniture, and pretending I knew how to put together dorm room storage, that extra time felt like winning the lottery. Overall, this place knows exactly what it’s d

Breakfast and kitchen staff are very friendly and professional. Front desk staff needs to do better. They never smile to people during check in time. I dont know about other staff but the black girl and the white skinny girl really needs to practice smiling and be professional. Overall, our stay was okay, housekeepers needs to clean the shower too, we found hairs on the bathroom floor right when we check in to our room.

Front desk staff exceptional. Lobby was filled with guests waiting for rooms to be ready cluster check in time. staff was calm, kind and efficient getting all checked and clearing lobby within 29-30 min of checkin

The kitchen in the room was very useful and clean. Staff was very kind and helpful throughout our stay. Walking distance from Bush Gardens!! Breakfast was good. :)
