Hyatt Place Tampa Airport

the hotel looked great on the internet. My wife and i (senior citizens) and handicapped) arrived late afternoon after driving 4.5 hours. The hotel is being renovated. unable to park in front of the hotel because of construction we had to park in the back near a dumpster. the parking lot was filled with construction debris. the back door led to a makeshift check in desk. I would have left but we were exhausted from our road trip. We checked in and proceeded to the elevator nad construction workers were in and out carrying construction demolition debris in and out of the elevators. We were very disappointed in the mess and decided to stay because we had medical appointment the next morning.. I fell we should have been notified about the major construction when we booked the room which cost $293 for 2 nights.. In the day the construction noise was annoying. . What a mistake staying at this hotel.. This was the worst 2 day hotel stay ever. I feel that i should be compensated with a refund.

Overall that was a very decent stay at hyatt. And the service is acceptable.

Surprisingly good stay. Given the major renovation underway, our stay was much better than expected. The staff went out of there way to make our stay enjoyable.

I would have given a 5 for property condition but currently under construction and some inconveniences, which is fine. I think it will look great when completed. The staff is very nice and accommodating.

Our room was recently renovated and very nice and comfortable. The hotel is undergoing maintenance so there was a lot of construction. The elevator was very slow die to construction. Breakfast was very limited. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Shuttle to airport was great.

My Short Stay My stay at the Hotel was pleasant! Very enjoyable for my son and my mom. I was disappointed at the beginning when I was not able to get a room on the first floor due to the renovations that were taking place, but the hotel representative was very nice about the situation. We were able to make the best of our stay, the location was great for my son‘s appointment, and the breakfast was delightful with a convenient sitting area with additional tables away from renovations. I would come back to this hotel after renovations.
