Days Inn by Wyndham Guam-Tamuning

The location is acceptable; other aspects are decent.

I stayed here on a trip with a friend. The staff were kind and provided excellent service. We had a rental car, so we were able to easily get to tourist attractions.

First of all, I'm very grateful to Ctrip for helping me confirm with the hotel in advance that I could check in an hour early. I repeatedly confirmed with Ctrip whether the hotel had confirmed and agreed to this, and Ctrip said they had recorded the calls with the hotel and the hotel wouldn't deny it. However, when I arrived at the hotel, the receptionists (one young and one old) deliberately made things difficult: they demanded that I show evidence of my communication with Ctrip, and their attitude was extremely arrogant. I explained that it would take time to call Ctrip to find the record, and that if Ctrip couldn't produce the record or didn't call the front desk within an hour, I was willing to pay extra, but they simply wouldn't let me check in. I had no choice but to wait on the side and then make an international call to Ctrip to ask them to find the evidence and call the front desk. It took almost an hour before I was allowed to check in (actually, I wasn't getting early). When I entered the room, the bathroom and the counter were full of bugs. I spent half a day getting rid of them, and a few hours later, many more bugs appeared from somewhere. I want to commend the repairman who fixed the safe and the cleaning staff; they were very cooperative when I called for repairs and cleaning.

I stayed here just to sleep after landing on an early morning flight, but the front door light kept flickering even after I turned it off, so I changed rooms. However, the new room was exactly the same, so I had to climb onto a chair to remove the ceiling LED myself and was finally able to sleep around 4 AM. The staff didn't know how to fix it and claimed they weren't capable of doing anything. I will never go back.
