There was no bar in the fridge, the cutlery, plates and cups were all dirty. Also there was no one on reception at any time while we were there. No floor towel in the bathroom. All in all one of the worst experiences we have had in a motel. Have stayed in motel before but very much doubt we will stay there again.

I hadn’t realised this motel was seven kilometres out of Tamworth (at Kingswood) but I couldn’t have made a better choice. Quiet. Country views. Wonderful friendly staff. Italian restaurant on site with authentic Italian cuisine and divine gelato and sorbet. Clean, spacious, well designed space, comfortable bed and continental breakfast supplies. Simply the best!

I had the pleasure of staying at your beautiful motel. I loved the lockbox concept. I loved how clean and fresh it was. I loved that you catered for smokers. I was gobsmacked by the size of the T.V. It was huge! I loved that the fridge was stocked with some goodies, should I felt like a chockie or fizzy drink. Price of these was very reasonable. I'm coming back too, as I was not able to indulge in Carmen's delicious looking menu!

We booked a king suite and it was well worth the $150 for a Sunday night after a few days of car travel. Plenty of space and well-appointed furniture and shower area. Bed comfortable. Other pluses of the place included the pool and the on-site Italian style restaurant-Papa Luigi's. Arriving late? No problem-unpack, have a quick dip to refresh then into the restaurant and walk home-no more than 150 metres. The motel is out of the city centre so you will need a car to get here. The views from the rooms vary a little. We had views across open, flat grasslands. Others can overlook lawns and gardens and out to the highway. Very quiet and comfortable

I can’t thank the Owners and staff of the Stockman’s Motel enough. My husband and I spent one night there mid December 2023, on our way to our holiday. The day before NYE my husband was injured in an accident and flown to Tamworth Hospital. I spent the next two weeks at the motel. They were so accomodating and lovely. The rooms are huge, there is a guest laundry and the grounds and pool are wonderful. I can’t recommend this motel enough.

A very spacious and comfortable room makes up for being a little off the pulse. Wifi was non existent for the 2 nights we stayed. Let the staff know and they came back with a new password which didn't work either.

A fantastic motel: clean, spacious, new facilities, amazing pool and brilliant new restaurant. Incredible value for money! We travel a lot as a family all over the world and even my two teenagers agreed that this was a great place to stay - praise indeed!

Stayed here one night on a trip back to Sydney. Loved the quiet property and the location. We had a great meal at the on site restaurant and sat on the patio the next morning watching and listening to the various birds. Overall a very nice place to stay.
