Katie on reception was more than pleasant on ardival and helped me out with printing a forgotten document. The hotel was clean throughout and the room was perfect after a day's travel. For a travelodge is was certainly better than expected!

Dirty, not maintained smells like sewage, bathrooms has mold and sink will not drain properly. Carpet and bed in extremely bad condition. Lights not working and some flashing. Hairs in bed and bath and marks on mirrors and door just not cleaned. Just really poor value for money for 70 pounds for one night.

Stayed for 2 nights never got a really got a good nights sleep but the hotel not really to blame for others bagging doors and traffic ie boy racer’s and trains flying past and a strong smell *****. It good location shop under hotel open till 10 pubs and food shops in walking distance

Tamworth FC 300 yds away, South, town centre same, North. Great market Sat. AM compact town easy to get around, wonderful Norman Church worth a look

Booked at Castle Hotel. Found out the Hotel is closed and is now in liquidation. Problem I needed Accommodation. Katie, from Travel Lodge Tamworth. Came to the RESCUE. Her customer service, attention to detail, was Second to None. Couldn't ask for better service. I would definitely come back again. Thank you very much Katie. Your help was greatly appreciated.
