After reading numerous reviews i was a bit sceptical but this hotel was great. Based in the beautiful centre of Vianden, its location is spot on. The reception was good and i could leave my bag as i arrived early. Great clean room, i could not fault it.

Booked a double luxury room and paid EUR206. We were given a small room (number 23) on 2nd floor. An ugly and noisy mobile a/c was cooling down the room which otherwise would have been very hot. There was no key and somebody’s toiletries were still there. The room is worth EUR80. It’s a big rip off, owner doubles the price or more on busy weekends. The Portuguese manager running the restaurant was very correct, apologised and refunded our money and even offered us free dinner. We ended up sharing a room with our friend at Hotel Belle Vue, at EUR150 it was twice as good.

Bedienend personeel kort af, gewoon een frisdrankje komt uit een vorige week geopende fles. Zero was op, gewone cola dan? Mwah ok. Glas zonder koolzuur. Terug. Cola is ook op, sprite dan? Mwah… Sprite zonder koolzuur, “Here you go”. Teleurgesteld

Wir haben unser Zimmer (Nummer 14) nach kurzer Besichtigung im ungereinigten/unaufgeräumten Zustand besichtigt (wir waren zu früh) und dummerweise im Voraus bezahlt. Der dann am Nachmittag vorgefundene "Zustand" ist auf den beigefügten Photos dokumentiert (Schmutz, plattgedrückte Insekten, Schimmel im Bad, Sonstiges auf den Wanden, etc.). Wir haben das Zimmer am selben Abend wieder verlassen. Auf Schriftverkehr bzgl. Erstattung der nicht in Anspruch genommenen Leistungen ist seitens des Besitzers bis jetzt nicht reagiert worden. Dabei hatte man uns bei Abreise zugesagt, sich darum zu kümmern. Wer sich eine Enttäuschung ersparen möchte, sollte direkt woanders buchen.

Geweldig hotel, prachtig uitzicht, vriendelijk personeel die je het naar de zin maken, en een goed restaurant, net een uitgebreid menu . Echt een aanrader om hier te verbljven . Kamers zijn ruim, mooi en schoon. Mensen met liefde voor hin vak .Voor ons 5+ sterren.

Visité hier 03/11 attirés par l'emplacement et le joli point de vue sur le cours d'eau offert par cet établissement, nous n'avons jamais été confrontés à un service aussi pitoyable et non professionnel. Ce que nous remarquons directement en nous installant est l'état des tables, sales (miettes et traces de liquide) et le style de celles-ci (daté et sans personnalité, mobilier semblant provenir de chez un brocanteur). Concernant l'attitude du serveur, celle-ci se passe de commentaire, pas de bonjour, on est snobés et les menus sont presque jetés sur la table ! Ce monsieur ne semblait pas non plus parler français, car le prix (au demeurant très excessif) des consommations ayant été annoncé de manière très imprécise "eight" pour dire 8€80 ce qui a donné lieu à une discussion sur la monnaie rendue (qu'il n'avait finalement pas sur lui). Finissons par la "qualité" des consommations, Fanta plat et cappuccino (4€40 !) ayant triste mine (mousse rabougrie et pas de chantilly), tasse à moitié remplie et goût infecte donc non consommé. Bref, comme déjà dis ailleurs, à éviter, voire fuir, si l'on ne veut pas ternir la visite de cette jolie ville.

A fair. Ne voius laisser pas influencer par la vue et le cadre magnifique. Service deplorable et nourriture mediocre. Attente d'une heure pour 2 pizzas en carton !plusieurs personnes ont quitter leur table avant d'avoir été services. Jamais nous n'y retournerons. A eviter a tout prix ...!

Helaas kan ik niet zeggen dat ik tevreden was met mijn verblijf in dit hotel. De hygiëne liet veel te wensen over, de kamer voelde niet schoon aan en er hing een muffe geur die mijn verblijfservaring aanzienlijk verminderde. Bovendien vond ik de prijs die ik moest betalen voor een nacht onredelijk hoog gezien de geboden faciliteiten. Het personeel was vriendelijk genoeg, maar dat kon de algehele teleurstelling niet goedmaken.
