Hôtel Tanjah Flandria

I'm going to give a harsh review. To be honest, I don't recommend this hotel. Even considering the cost of living in Morocco, the price is a bit high, but you won't get what you pay for or any satisfaction. ① Poor facilities The facilities are generally old and dirty. ② Minimal amenities Things you'd normally expect in a hotel at this price point are missing. For example, slippers, tissues, bathrobes, and a kettle. ③ Poor breakfast quality It's very simple and not very tasty (however, the croissants and other breads were good). ④ Small cockroaches in the room and breakfast restaurant This was the worst part. Not big ones, but many small cockroaches. They were crawling not only on the floor but also on the plates and glasses. It didn't seem like they were taking any measures to prevent the insects. I stayed at this hotel for two nights, but that's as far as I could go. Similar comments to mine have been found on other websites and reviews (for example, Google Maps). It's a real shame, especially since the staff were so nice. If I had known about these things beforehand, I wouldn't have stayed here. I also took a picture of a cockroach, but I'll refrain from posting it here. Some people have given it high ratings, so if you're okay with that, then it's fine, but I certainly won't be staying here again. For your reference!

The restaurant has limited food variety and poor service. The pool is very small. The rooms are infested with cockroaches, and there's a lot of noise at night.

The hotel is perfectly located, just a short walk from the Medina. The hotel staff is very friendly and accommodating. Due to the low occupancy, a set menu with many choices was offered for dinner instead of a buffet. I would have appreciated better communication between the staff and the kitchen, so that the next course wouldn't get cold until the previous one was finished. Otherwise, I highly recommend it, especially if you need a temporary hotel before continuing your journey.

The Tanjah Flandria Hotel is a beautiful establishment with a charming and welcoming breakfast room. Breakfast itself was a delight every morning. The staff was very professional in all key positions. It's very well located, right in the city center and close to all the interesting sites, including the sea, the medina, and the Librairie des Colonnes bookstore, where I made several purchases thanks to the excellent advice of the perfectly fluent French-speaking bookseller. The Tanjah Flandria is also at the heart of current events, with the large number of festival-goers on one side and young people demonstrating peacefully as they passed under my balcony on the other. I loved my stay; it was very warm and lively.
