Unfortunately, I did not have a very comfortable stay at this hotel. During check-in, I was given the wrong passcode and could not get the access card. I tried calling customer service several times, but no one answered. I only received a response later in the evening. The room itself was also not very satisfactory. The carpet did not feel clean and seemed to have quite a lot of dust. There were also mosquitoes in the room, and the foot towel provided was not very clean. The toilet in the bathroom could not flush properly. I had to press the flush several times before it worked. There was also not enough toilet paper provided, and I could not find any cleaning staff to assist. The air conditioning was another issue. It would work for a while and then stop, making the room alternate between cold and warm. The next morning, I also discovered that the hotel lobby was flooded. It seemed that a water tap or pipe had not been properly turned off, and water had continued to flow until the entire lobby was flooded, even reaching the entrance outside. Overall, I was quite disappointed with the room condition and the level of service. Based on my experience, I would not highly recommend this hotel.

Clean and quiet room. Bed is comfy as well. The place is near nice hawker centre. I recommend this place for a short stay in Penang.

I cannot give a full rating for this stay because we were forced to cancel / check out early without actually staying. The facts: 1. The hotel is located next to a busy highway, and the room we were offered faced the road. The noise level in the room is extremely high – believe me, earplugs won't help. 2. The "windows" in this room are more of a drawback. They are not double-glazed – just single sheets of glass. You feel like you're standing right on the street. Street noise, dust, dirt, and car exhaust constantly enter the room. The windows are not clear – they have some kind of frosted / hazy coating. 3. The bathroom is in very worn-out condition. 4. We asked to change rooms, but we were offered an alternative with a double surcharge. In my opinion, situations like this should be handled with understanding. Because of this attitude toward guests, I strongly do not recommend staying at this hotel. We had to urgently find new accommodation, and believe me – given the limited choice and our budget, there are better options out there! Wishing everyone a great trip!

So far, everything has been great! The place is comfortable, and the hotel is strategically located, making it easy to buy daily necessities from the nearby shops.
