Hotel Metropole Taormina

The location is excellent, just steps away from the Ancient Theater and Sijiu Square. The room was also great; they upgraded us to a sea-view room, and the service was warm and attentive. We planned to visit the train station where The Godfather was filmed, and the staff advised us to take a taxi, not to walk. According to Google Maps, it was 1.5 kilometers from the hotel, so we insisted on walking. It turned out that 1.5 kilometers was a straight-line distance, and we ended up walking for almost an hour on winding mountain roads, feeling exhausted. We regretted not listening to the staff's advice.

The location was great and the clientele was calm, so it was very comfortable. I had a lot of luggage so the room felt a little small, but next time I stay I'll choose a larger room with an ocean view. The breakfast also had a great view!

This time I booked a room with a terrace and a private pool. The scenery is 10 points good And it’s in the main street, so the location is very convenient. But I found a lot of insects entering the private swimming pool. The staff's attitude is very good and kind.
