Iancu Charme Apartments

2nd time we have stayed at these luxury apartments . We again had the loft which has spectacular views , ( there are 2) The apartment is faultless , pristine and to the highest standard of cleanliness . Crisp clean bedding on a very comfy bed, quality pillows , fluffy towels , soft dressing robes , quality toiletries , safety deposit box, shoe horn , beach basket with beach towels and flip flops, slippers , Fresh bottle of water daily, fresh bread and pastry delivered to your door every morning . Bottle of local wine in apartment on arrival with a large bowl of fresh fruit , Nespresso ( stocked daily ) Hot twin maintained daily . Netflix , the list to “ THE” most perfect apartment just goes on . The jewel in the crown is the super professional staff , housekeeping were discreet but super efficient and left daily a pristine apt . Swimming pool quiet , serene and the fragrance from the jasmine was delightful I can’t review without mentioning the manager Carmelo , communication before we arrived regarding check in was first class , on arrival warm , welcoming and could not have done any more to make us feel so very welcome . So professional. Thank you team “ Charme “ you made our trip unforgettable, very grateful .

This is a stunning property close to some excellent restaurants and Isola Bella. Loft room had exceptional views, nice but small kitchen, and luxurious bathroom with high quality soaps, shampoos, etc. The abundant windows on both sides of the loft added to the beauty. It was difficult to leave! Parking was great to have on-property. It was an easy cable car ride up to Taormina. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend for couples.

The apartment was fabulous and I would highly recommend this property! I stayed in unit 2, a 2 bedroom on the first floor above the ground. The apartment had a lovely view and was very clean. Everything in the apartment is new and modern. The furnishings are very nice. Great bathroom. The apartments are also cleaned daily and restocked with toilet paper, water, and essentials which is a great perk. Each morning I would get a bag left on the door with rolls and croissants. It was so lovely sitting on the terrace with my croissant and espresso looking at the Ionian Sea each morning. Everything was perfect! This property is right near the cable car to Taormina. However the cable car is under maintenance (April 2023), but it was not an issue because there is a bus that picks up right at the cable car and takes you up to Taormina. The bus came very often and was 1.10 euro each trip. There is a sign on the door of the cable car building with the bus schedule. It was a beautiful view from the bus up and down to Taormina. The apartment is also very close to Isola Bella which was gorgeous! Everything about this place was fabulous and I hope I am able to come back again!

We absolutely loved our stay here. This hotel is small so very quiet and charming. The rooms are very spacious, clean and have plenty of amenities. The views from the porch are breathtaking. I think we stayed in #6 which was on the top floor with a huge private front deck and a back deck (so you could always find shade any time of day). The bed was very comfortable and had a spacious bath. The hotel provided fresh croissants and rolls delivered right to your door every morning. The hot tub was clean and lovely. On site parking. A very short walk to the beaches, shops and cable car that take you to the top of Taormina. This was our favorite place to stay during our whole trip.

We stayed here for 2 nights as we were attending a wedding at a nearby venue. The host was fantastic and very helpful throughout our stay. He delivered fresh croissants and bread every morning for breakfast, Apartment was huge, modern and well equipped with everything you need - hot tub was a surprise! There is a well maintained swimming pool. Great location - beach across the road, plenty of restaurants nearby, minimarket a few steps away and a 2 minute walk to the cable cars which take you up to the busy town above! Thoroughly recommend.

What can I say? It was perfect!!! As soon as we walked in we were blown away by the accommaodation. We had the loft apartment, and it was exceptional. The views from the terrace are breathtaking, and with the addition of a private hot tub we certainly were living the high life! It had a small kitchen area with kettle, fridge, crockery, cutlery, etc. We would have liked a toaster, but that is a minor, personal, preference. The bathroom is lovely, and has enough storage for clothes, and a small safe. The terrace is HUGE!! And the views from it are spectacular. You can chill out in your hot tub whilst looking out to sea. We got up early one morning to watch the sunrise from our terrace, and it was stunning. The accommodation was spotless. The cleaners came in every day, and they went above and beyond what was expected. They not only cleaned the room, changed the bedding and towels etc, but they also immaculately folded the few items of clothing we had left laying around. Every time we walked back into our room, after they had cleaned it, it was spotless. Carmelo, the owner, is very helpful, and replies very quickly to messages. He arranged transfers for us to and from the accommodation. The little extra touches were lovely: a bottle of prosecco (it was our honeymoon), fresh fruit, water, juice, fresh croissants and rolls every day, and snacks, as well as the usual tea, and coffee. The pool is lovely, and very welcome in the Sicilian heat. It has sunbeds and parasols, and a very nice bathroom. The location is great. It is in Mazzaro, which is just a cable car ride away from Taormina town. The whole area is beautiful. There are amazing views, and there is something to see around every corner. We liked being in Mazzaro as we were able to walk to the beach of Isola Bella, which was a 5 minute walk away. But then in the evening we could take the short ride to town, on the cable car. The road outside the accommodation, and most of the roads around it, do not have pavements, so you are walking on the road. So just take extra care with that. Other than that it is perfect!
