This time, we stayed in an Executive Suite. It featured a minibar, a sofa, and a fridge generously stocked with a diverse selection of beverages, unique local snacks, and plenty of tea bags. The room also boasted twin balconies, offering direct views of Shimen Reservoir's back pond and spillway. While it was rainy and foggy upon check-in, we were fortunate to wake up to a sunny day ☀️, which allowed the stunning scenery to unfold before our eyes – absolutely breathtaking! 👍
The suite's amenities included a foyer, double sinks, a large bathtub, and a separate toilet room. Our kids absolutely loved playing hide-and-seek and insisted on booking the same room type for our next visit. The bedding was incredibly comfortable and warm. However, despite the air conditioning being quiet, it was excessively cold. No matter how we adjusted it, the room temperature seemed stuck at 22-23 degrees Celsius. 🥲
The hotel is conveniently located directly opposite the entrance to the entire Shimen Reservoir park. We finally managed to drive through the whole park. For those planning to explore, I recommend heading out early for a hike to avoid the heat, then returning to the hotel for breakfast and a refreshing bath. 🛁
Booking with the app is also convenient, but this is the second time I have encountered a hotel in the north and told me to be mainly on-site, because I read the rule on the app that 0~ 5 years old can be free to stay, but the waiter said that it depends on the height, which 5 years old is more than 110 cm long, you must add a head fee 😑
The problem is that the policies and norms on the app do not say that height should be the standard, and there are no remarks that should be based on the hotel site!
If every time I book the discount on the app, I have finished reading the rules. Do I have to call the hotel again and ask the hotel if there are different rules other than the app?
And there was a waiter who would question how I could book a room before? Discount 😓
Isn't App booking a discount and convenient, does anyone like to use it 😑?
The four-person room was quite spacious and relatively clean, with a refrigerator. The toilet had a separate unit, but I wish the shower head holder could be adjusted. Personally, I don't like the small tiles in the bathroom.
Also, I hope the driveway signs can be more clearly indicated; Google Maps places it at the back door, not the entrance/manager's location.
It was a wonderful accommodation experience. The family checked into the hotel at night. The free heated swimming pool and SPA in the hotel appropriately relieved their fatigue. Although the game room and gym are not big, they have everything you need. The next day a cold wave hit, and the hotel also prepared heating, highly recommended! The Xiangwangshang restaurant is also worth recommending. The food is healthy and tastes good. It is worth a try. Otherwise, there is a 7-11 in B1, which is convenient, but the business hours are not 24 hours.
The food in the hotel restaurant is average and the service of the staff needs to be improved.
The hotel has various facilities and is suitable for children.
The hotel is short of baby cots and there is no solution for temporary needs
There has always been a shortage of manpower, and problems cannot be improved immediately.
Newly renovated, the rooms are quite spacious, and the bathrooms are a good size too. While there's no bathtub, it does have a separate shower and toilet area, which I personally prioritize. We booked two rooms this time, one double and one quad, but both came with two double beds. One room even had an oven, which was a unique touch. There weren't many guests staying that day, so the breakfast was very basic, which I understand. If breakfast is a big deal for you, this might not be the best fit. The surroundings are quiet.
The hotel bathroom is new and there is a jacuzzi. There is also a bath powder. In addition, the toilet is free of toilet. The sink is also new. It is very clean. The hotel room also provides a massage chair.

LLeeoThe hygiene level is quite clean, but it's a pity that the swimming pool was closed for maintenance when I went there, and it was raining so the outdoor facilities were not open. The meals were varied but average. It was raining so the outdoor facilities were unavailable but there was no special introduction to the indoor facilities. For dinner, the hotpot soup was not enough and the meat was hard and tasteless. I asked for seasoning and soup and they said they would bring it to me. I waited for about 40 minutes but it still didn't come. I finally went to the counter to get it myself. The sound of clearing the dishes from the table was very loud early in the morning. But overall I still recommend friends to stay there. Great experience, hope it will be better next time
GGuest UserGreat for kids to burn off some energy, with a safe swimming pool, a camping area, and a children's playroom. Breakfast and late-night snacks can be enjoyed at a leisurely pace. It's perfect for a few families to dine and have fun together. The rooms are generally spacious and comfortable.
GGuest UserThe staff service is good, but the fly in the ointment, the room has a smoke smell. The bathroom is spacious, the room is very clean, the classic room facilities are not much, and the cable TV channel is limited.
