Hotels Near Izapa Ruins in Tapachula

We were only staying one night but it was really bad experience.We arrived on Wednesday 5 April, the check in was supposedly at 3 pm, we arrived at 3:30 pm, they made us wait half an hour to give us the rooms. The lobby area was very dirty as well as the area where breakfast is served, especially the floor was too dirty. When we arrive at the room, we find 3 couchs on each bed but in very bad condition, the overheads and the soaps all percuted and rugged. And not to say the bathroom cleaning, terrible, the bathroom garden was all broken and is not long enough, so all the water is out of the bathroom. The room was double, for a maximum of 4 people, only a large bath towel for drying our hands, but also all lost. The pool is very small and was very dirty, it is noted that they don't give you maintenance. The check out is at 1 pm and at 12 pm the key to open the room and use the lifts, so you have to go up and down the steps to go to the lobby and ask you to open the room. I would definitely not book again at that hotel.

The staff's attention is very good, the price-quality ratio is equal, I understand they are being re-designed and so some small details in the facilities, for all the rest, I just like to congratulate them, definitely my favorite hotel in this destination, I recommend it

The hotel was very comfortable and the hotel was very comfortable. In the restaurant they didn't take care of us and when I complained to the captain immediately I resolved the problem by taking care of us quickly and gave us a courtesy, I was very good to the mouth.

El hotel muy bueno todo limpio y comodo lo unico malo fue el menu poca variacion, el quipo de réception muy Amable en especial la del turno de la noche la que tiene el pajon, lo recomendaria el hôtel solo que habria que pedir la comida por fuera, hace falta un buen menu

When I retired I delivered the keys of room 09, they told me they would check the inside of the room and if I could wait, what I acceded and took a seat. Afterwards a lady of the morning turn told me that I needed a bathing tape and that if you could check my bag, which at first did it bother me because I know I didn't wear anything. They checked my bag she and a cleaner, not satisfied with seeing what was nothing in my bag insisted that the tape returned. What I had to exalte and tell you I had no tape, yet the cleaning lock I tried to open a lock where only identification and money entered, was where I told you that they wouldn't want to open there, because I was carrying my money alone. Then, only one man who was in the reception told me to retire me. I am done with bad pleasure, that they are criminalizing me in this way and against everyone in the lobby; because they should have protocols to do so, not in this way so degrading and prepotent, because they only demonstrate the ineptity of their staff and lack of professionalism. - It's a good thing.

A decent, centrally-located hotel with spacious rooms. However, there were many little things that added up to a negative experience for me and I won't stay here again. PROS Pool, air conditioning, very close to central park (Parque Miguel Hidalgo), good pillows, big rooms, restaurant on-site CONS The pool was full of screaming kids most of the time. The first room they put me in was 103 and the door opened directly onto the pool. The noise was atrocious so on my second day I asked to be moved to a quieter room, which the staff did quickly and with many apologies. They put me on the third floor, room 301, but because the pool is in an open-air section in the center of the hotel, the noise echoed all over the property. Quieter, but definitely not tranquil. The bed gave me a back ache. It only had one sheet and a very thin plasticky coverlet. The air conditioning had two settings -- FULL blast or off. So I either froze or roasted. The shower couldn't maintain a steady temperature. Towels were scratchy. No hand towel. There was no bottled water in the room and no agua pura dispenser in the lobby. This is something I've seen often at other hotels in Mexico and I missed having access to drinking water. There is an OXXO convenience store only steps away though. STAIRS -- this hotel is not mobility-friendly. There is a big set of stairs even to get to reception. Avoid if you have knee problems. Summary: there are better hotels in the same area. Skip this one unless you have kids and want a pool for them.

Un Hotel en un edificio alto y con bonito diseño, excelente ubicación Justo en el centro histórico, muy cerca de todo (taxis colectivos a Puerto Madero o al Aeropuerto a media cuadra, taxis colectivos a Tuxtla Chico a 3 cuadras, Parque Central a cuadra y media, tiendas, restaurantes). Mi habitación estupenda, todo limpio y ordenado, y destacó la atención de recepción en todas mis inquietudes (muy precisos en todo). El hotel tiene todo para ser un súper hotel, pero sí reconozco la falta de mantenimiento en áreas comunes, el elevador descompuesto, el estado de la alfombra en las escaleras (muy destruída y sucia), la alberca un poco incómoda y descuidada, no invita a nadar. Aunque mi experiencia fue buena y el precio diario, ni se diga.
