"The quality of sleep I got here was exceptional — it completely melted away all the exhaustion from my busy training days. This is the perfect place to unwind and recharge after a long day. One thing I really appreciated was the hospitality in the lobby — nearly every time I was waiting, the staff would kindly offer me complimentary drinks and coffee. It's a small gesture that makes a big difference and really shows they care about their guests' comfort. The service was excellent and the staff were genuinely friendly and attentive throughout my stay. The only thing I'd say is that I didn't get the chance to try the breakfast or dinner buffet, so perhaps better promotion or flexible meal packages for busy guests could encourage more people to experience the full offering. But overall, a wonderful stay — highly recommended!"

"Booked for afternoon tea for 4 at 3pm. Had the dog friendly restaurant to ourselves. Attentive but not intrusive staff. Fabulous spread, freshly cut sandwiches with no fish, as requested. Warm scones, loads of clotted cream and the desserts were to die for! They included a brownie, carrot cake , a pineapple syllabub and a blackcurrant swirl. Unlimited teas and coffee. All beautiful. At £25 per head, well worth it. Thanks all."

"Had a great stay on this wonderful private island. Perfect for couples. Splurge on the Temple Terrace Rooms if it is within your budget. Rooms are small, but that is to be expected as the buildings are from days of old, though nicely restored and maintained. Enjoyed our meals and the drinks at the bar. Also had lovely hour out on the Thames with the rented boat that easily accomodates 6 people. Such an oasis of quiet and luxury. Very close to the Michelin fine dining village of Bray. I would return without hesitation."
