R2 Romantic Fantasia Suites - Adults Only

What is not to love ♥️ my happy place I feel like I've been away on a week's retreat. A fantastic week start of December 24. The weather was lovely around 25 degrees. All of the staff were amazing from the lovely man on reception who checked me in, Mery on eggs in the morning and the fantastic Daniella at the bar to name a few. Everyone was very friendly and I certainly didn't experience any rudeness which other reviews have mentioned. My room was amazing and exceeded my expectations. It hard beach towels in my room when I arrived and my room was cleaned daily. There was a mini fridge which was used for and I free safety deposit box. The glass wall feature in the bathroom I actually liked as on my own anyway. The hotel, grounds and room were all immaculately kept. There were lots of clusters of some bads around lots of hot tubs. There was around 6 to 8 sun beds around each but always plenty available. Not even half occupied. There was also a large sauna in the grounds area and of course the swimming pool. The village itself was very quaint with a large promenade. There was a very large well stopped spa supermarket, couple more smaller supermarkets. I think there's a couple of restaurants there and I saw a bar and there is a souvenir shop. There are also some lovely shops at the hotel. I have to say the shopping experience at the airport was fantastic, one of the best airports I have been through. If you want to explore the area further there are regular buses and of course you can hire a car. I however I was just looking for a relaxing week with my book which I certainly got. Food there was a large choice, always fresh dish and meet the incooked in front of you. I was fresh pizza, salads, pasta, seafood, bread, chips, meat cheeses and desserts. The restaurant was very well ran with tables always available with very attentive staff. Tables were turned around very promptly. There was a good selection of drinks with a menu on the bar. Honey rum who knew, delicious. Clientele was mainly German and French we were all very friendly. Although the wasn't a lot at English people, there was a lot more than I had expected. It was a very friendly place and I felt very safe.

We had eight nights here in March. What's there not to like ? It's fantastic. We stayed at the Romantic Fantasia suites across the car park from the R2 hotel. The pool in the R2 hotel is heated, which was lovely, as I don't like cold pools! Our pool was cold, but I used the heated one. The peace and tranquility is fab (just what was needed !). The bedroom is very clean with nice bathroom, big comfortable bed and and nice balcony overlooking the pool. Fridge in room. You have to pay for the safe though. Food is great - we were all inclusive and I enjoyed all of it - lovely restaurant with happy staff. Plenty of choice. Enjoyed the games room in the evening with pool table, table football and table tennis. This is a very quiet location, just this hotel and a couple of small shops nearby. If you are looking to switch off for a few nights this is the place. Thanks to all the staff, you work so hard, and the hotel is amazing.

Wow, where do I start?! Absolutely amazing place and staff. This is the second year me and my friend have visited. All the staff were amazing but Vanesa, our cleaner is a massive credit to them. Natalia behind the bar was absolutely lovely too. Both of them are SO accommodating and very friendly and smiling all the time. Food was great and plenty to choose from. The whole experience was the best. So much so that we'll be going again for the third time next year. Absolutely fantastic place. See you next year, can't wait.

I just don't know where to start. This is the second holiday myself and my friend have been lucky to have at this hotel. its the most beautiful hotel for a relaxing holiday with the most wonderful surroundings. From the suite which Naomi on reception kindly booked for us at our request everything went smooth and was awesome . The food once again was absolutely delicious with plenty of variety. As we are 2 ladies traveling alone it is lovely to feel so safe. Our suite was beautiful. Spotlessly cleaned by the wonderful Vanesa. She was so on the ball with fresh towels, little treats and everything we needed . Nothing was to much trouble for this wonderful lady. Such an asset to the R2 Romantic. The bar staff were always quick with our lovely drinks, especially Natalie who was so friendly and such a hard worker. She deserves a big thank you. We have already booked for next year, literally cant wait to return

We have had the most wonderful week, we have been able to relax and unwind. Vanesa our assigned member of staff from the housekeeping team has provided us with an outstanding service. Her standard of work is excellent and she has been welcoming and happy. She even provided us with flowers for our hair !! She has made such a difference to our stay . We for see a promotion in her future Vanessa and team thank you So much Amanda and Maria

One of the best hotels i've ever stayed in, The pictures do not do it justice. We stayed in a suite It was amazing. Spotlessly clean thanks to Romona, who kept the room beautifully clean everyday. The food was top class..... staff went above and beyond to be helpful and were so friendly especially the bar staff and umar. Relaxing but with top class entertainment in the evening. Yoga and lots of other activities if you wish to join in . I read on previous reviews that the hot tubs didn't work. They do. They are completely cleaned every day. And it's very easy to get a hot tub to use. Myself and my friend were the only english people there. Everyone else seemed to be german or french. This was fantastic.They were so friendly made us really welcome. We would a hundred percent go back again.
