Hotel Delfino Taranto
"I am surprised this hotel does not score higher for the staff alone.Every member of staff are incredibly friendly and can't do enough for you; from the handyman who sorted a faulty room key in minutes( most likely caused by the magnet on my husband's phone); all reception ( especially Alexandrio) and the staff at breakfast and evening meals. The breakfast exceeded expectations: cooked good, 6 different juices, cold meats and cheeses, cakes, croissants, fruit ( dried and fresh), yogurts- all of a high standard. The shared spaces are modern and stylish with a small but well maintained pool. We opted for a sea view and the bay offers plenty to look at. Our room was if a good size and decorated naturally. We stayed in Taranto for 10 nights so did feel the need for a hire car for some of the time but we also managed the local bus service to get to pretty beeches nearby ( 1.3 Euro)"
Salina Hotel
"Excellent"
Hotel Plaza
"The only good thing is the location and the low cost. Obviously you have to ask yourself: "what are you willing to give up for the price?" Breakfast (perhaps it is called this because the first ones who get up early eat something and the others don't) has some shortcomings, just look at the photos taken at around 09:00. Not all rooms have a mini bar, which is separate!! The manager or the person who manages the hotel would do well not to bring his dogs inside the structure, especially if they bark continuously every time a guest enters or leaves. I don't recommend it."
Dimora Turripenne
Palazzo Matà Boutique Hotel
"What a beautiful hotel, despite we stayed just one night. Situated in the Taranto’s port, its location is absolutely fantastic, as the old city is within walking distance. The hotel has a great atmosphere and is very romantic. The room was spacey, well equipped and the breakfast were tasty. Highly recommend."
Albergo Del Sole
"I paid 360 euros for 2 nights through a travel agency, having seen the amazing photos on the website and believing that all rooms have a balcony or window. Upon arrival, the very kind employee, informed me that my room was in the 2nd building, on the opposite side of the square, but the surprise was that it did not have a balcony, even a window with view, but had a window that when opened led to a dark staircase in the next building (photo). There were not even any safety bars and anyone could break the window or enter the room if you left it open to air the room a little. Consequently, I stayed for 2 nights in a room without natural light, which was very clean, but it was like a "prison cell". I was forced to have the air conditioning constantly on, which caused me to freeze. Look at the photos of the hotel, in a small seaside town, and imagine expecting to have at least a beautiful view of the square or the sea and being given a "prison cell", and at the outrageous price of 165 euros. The ending was with the "manager" of the hotel, who was dressed not in a suit but like a "Hawaian summer tourist" and told me in a very bad and provocative tone, that next time I go I should pay more to be given a room with a balcony. ....Not even an apology."

Baja Delle Sirene
"Beautiful place... The property couldn't have been better located for visiting Taranto... Sea views, clean and well-appointed rooms. But the happiest thing, which drives me to write such a wonderful review, is the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff... Arcangelo runs the B&B with a passion that would inspire many others who do it without love... Greetings also to Pamela, who is also extremely helpful. What more can I say? If we return to Taranto, there's no doubt we'll stay at their wonderful property again."
Hotel Europa
"Very kind & friendly staff, very clean, good location & good breakfast!! I'd like to stay again & bring my family too."

Bacã Suites, Restaurant & Bar
"We have been this October long weekend in Aveiro and they told us that we had to have dinner at this restaurant. And we really loved it!!! The waiters were very attentive and efficient and recommended creamy rice and two varieties of Bacalado with a different glass of wine for each choice...a success!!!! And then the desserts left us speechless!!! Unbeatable quality-price!!! I definitely recommend it."
Il Giardino Delle Jacaranda
"Francesco and Melissa were great hosts in this stunning house. They gave us loads of information on where to go during the days and where to eat in the evenings (excellent restaurant every time). The breakfast was nice and beautifully prepared, like everything else they did (attention to detail was perfect). The room was unbelievable for the price, a huge bedroom, a bathroom bigger than my living room and a massive outside area on the roof with an outdoor shower, which we loved."
La Villa Della Meda
Mon Rêve Resort
"We had an amazing trip to Mon Reve Ecogreen Resort. The rooms are spacious and very well kept, with everything you need. The staff are extremely helpful and I want to pay particular thanks to the chef and restaurant staff who were very attentive in meeting our weird irish eating requirements! The food was delicious and our group really enjoyed the lovely fresh seafood and tasting some authentic italian cuisine. Mu husband thoroughly enjoyed the sauna at the Wellbeing centre & a little bit of exercise and stretching at the gym, plus a swim in the lovely pool to finish. These are the regular things you may expect to see in a review, however the main attraction for this beautiful hotel is the unique location, with superb views over the stunning private beach. Well worth it to stay here - even off-season, it is a beautiful place to stay. Our group is affiliated with the international organisation, WJJF-WJJKO 1976, so our event here was our annual convention, where martial artists gather from across the world to train together and socialise/ present awards etc. Our three main events were handled beautifully by the resort. The first a Friday night themed Spartan dinner, had fantastic attention to detail, with themed menu and fantastic artwork displayed on the function room's I.T. screens. Then on Saturday we held a training course outdoors in a designated shaded space on the hotel grounds, to protect the athletes from the sun. That evening a superb Gala dinner was held, where we were delighted to meet the owners. They were very welcoming and hospitable, so it was really lovely to have had the chance to meet them. Staff throughout the gala dinner, were polished in their routine, attentive to all the guests and their needs and we had a thoroughly excellent evening. All in all, I would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel."
Don Alfredo
"Dark and dingy room, completely unlike the pictures on the website showing it as bright, light and airy. Windows open to walls within touching distance. It was like a dungeon, and we decided not to stay. We booked elsewhere at the last minute and sought a refund for the 2 nights, but got nothing. Not even 50%. Utterly disgusted. Don Alfredo does not deserve your custom."
Casa Matilde
"The STAIRS! The stairs up to the accommodation were VERY steep. No lift, Getting cases up and down was a night-mare. And dangerous. There was no one to help despite asking, there were only two young women. We arrived at the place and there was no one to let us in and we tried phoning and couldn't get through to anyone, we waited out side for 45 min. Then another guest arrived and they had better luck making contact with the owner. This is appalling behaviour. we paid the cleaner lady when we left!"
Hotel Virgilio
"Excellent staff welcome and kindness,Very clean rooms and common environments. Breakfast in the average. Positive experience"
