the place markets itself as a resort/ retreat with a restaurant that offers fine dining experiences. accommodation was very questionable, heating for winter period as well. while the restaurant was one day very good the other day pretty bad but this might be related to personal taste as well. prices though are pretty high. the spa experience with sauna and hot tub is definitely worth it

After an exceptional Christmas spent in this resort, we repeated the visit in this location in February 2025 on a weekend, having the theme Bella Italia. Ulrike and Jonas, was a warm and welcoming hosts for all visitors. We stayed in Valea Verde House (near the restaurant). The room was big, having all necessaries amenities and decorated in according with the rustic Saxon style. But, the main attraction of this resort is the cuisine. Jonas supervised and cooked in the evening end explain us what the food contain. In the Saturday evening we enjoy by Italian live music and we danced on the Italian rhythms. Despite of that, as tourist, you can have a lot of outdoor activities. We will return to try new culinary challenges.

The prices were unreasonably high for the poor-quality service provided. On top of that, the staff was rude and unhelpful, making the visit frustrating. Overall, it was a very unpleasant experience—definitely not worth the money. Would not recommend.

Wonderful weekend at Valea Verde. Everything was as expected, fabulous food, very friendly staff, nice wines, very cosy restaurant and a very nice owner, who welcomed us every time we went for dinner. The Lunch în nature after the truffle hunting was amazing. We were fortunate to have the nicest weather.

A cozy place in mother nature where you forget about stress, eat like a king and sleep like a baby. It's a must do experience in Romania. Different rooms and scaterred traditional saxon houses in 800meter proximity, restaurant, foyer, conference facilities, outdoor activities and romance.

A magical place, very friendly staff and very special food. For us it was an extraordinary experience, very impressed by the people who make up the Valea Verde team. Super excited about tasting sparkling wines and wines!

It was a wonderful experience for my mother's 80th birthday. 2 days of culinary indulgence, in a warm, friendly atmosphere. The hosts excelled in all aspects, and chef Jonas impressed us with his fine cuisine menus. I recommend with pleasure!

The staff was very nice, the food was great but the room from Casa Cund leaves much to be desired, there is a big difference between restaurant and accommodation, the food was very good and the accommodation especially the bathroom was outdated :(( but we paid like 5 stars, I think that we paid the food mostly.
