It’s so lucky to encounter this treasure hotel on this trip to Taxkorgan! As soon as I arrived at the hotel entrance, the staff quickly stepped forward and enthusiastically helped me with my luggage. They also escorted me to the room and introduced the room facilities in detail. They were all smiling the whole time, making me feel the warmth of home instantly.
The room is warmly and comfortably decorated, and is equipped with facial masks and steam eye masks. Even the napkins are wet napkins that are changed for each guest. What surprised me most is that it is equipped with oxygen generation equipment. In the plateau area, this is simply a ”life-saving artifact”, allowing you to rest extra peacefully at night. In the evening, room service will deliver fragrant goodnight milk and fresh fruit platter on time. The delicate care makes people feel healed.
The laundry service is also very considerate. The clothes are washed clean, folded neatly after drying, and even the scent of the laundry detergent is just right. The breakfast is so rich that it is beyond imagination. I want to comment after a week of coming back. I always feel that the trip is not over. Chogori Hotel is the best of the three hotels I stayed in this time.
When you check in, there will be a guy to help you carry your luggage. Because the altitude sickness is uncomfortable, the staff will also make you a cup of chrysanthemum tea (I want to drink it now!), teach you how to breathe oxygen, remind you to rest for a while, and always care about the guests' physical condition and travel experience.
There are also activities to watch the sunrise and the starry sky in the morning and evening. For guests who see these scenery for the first time, it is really exciting. The guests can also quickly get familiar with it, and everyone is like friends. The leader Tom is very funny. He will tell us stories and take beautiful photos. There is also hot milk delivered to the room before going to bed at night. I don’t drink milk but I love American breakfast!
I was worried that the altitude sickness in Tashi County would be serious, but I rested very well. The hotel has oxygen supply and it is very reassuring. The staff is also very reliable. It was my first time to come to the Pamir Plateau and I was not familiar with anything. When I stayed at this B&B, the owner of the B&B was a very cheerful and warm-hearted person. He took the initiative to introduce us to the customs, weather and altitude of the Pamir Plateau, and reminded us of things to pay attention to. He also introduced us to the location and distance of the scenic spots, and helped us plan our itinerary. He treated us as if we were his own family, and we were very touched.

SSpittleI do not speak Chinese and Hotel staff spoke only a little English however they made every effort to make my check-in and stay enjoyable. I was given ideas for places to eat. The hotel room was perfect for a traveller; lighting was very good and different types of power connectors. The bed was very comfortable with quality bed linen. Highly recommended.
Taxi drivers did not know ‘Home Inn’ and taxi company didn’t have hotel on database, maybe known by another name? Hotel should clarify with taxi companies.
