First off, the in-room Wi-Fi was terrible, almost unusable. We checked in on Chinese New Year's Eve, hoping to watch the Spring Festival Gala, but the CCTV4 signal was poor and then cut out completely.
The breakfast offered a good variety, but it was a bit cold and not particularly tasty. However, the staff member there was quite enthusiastic.
There's an ATM in the lobby for cash withdrawals, which accepts Visa, but UnionPay cards didn't work.
The hotel is conveniently located right next to a metro station and the Uzbekistan Hotel.
When we checked out, an older gentleman was charmingly playing the piano in the lobby bar, all smiles~

Delicious oriental-style breakfasts, clean and comfortable hotel rooms. 👍 A hotel in the heart of the city, everything is close 🇺🇿 Great staff, free spa and hot pool, delicious cocktails at the bar and a cheerful bartender. Overall, it's pretty good. Of course, it's not premium or luxurious, but I stay here every time I'm on a business trip because it feels very familiar, quiet, and the staff are nice. I've gotten to know most of them, and every time I come to Tashkent and check into this hotel, I even get a subtle sense of belonging. I'll post some photos of the surrounding park; I didn't really take many pictures of the hotel itself.

The room was very spacious, comfortable, and clean. They also provide complimentary bottled water. Rooms facing direction 20 are relatively quiet. However, rooms facing direction 07 are quite affected by the loud music from a nearby restaurant.

I frequently stay at this hotel when I'm on business in Tashkent. It's centrally located and generally good in all aspects, making me feel quite safe and secure. The front desk service is decent, and the breakfast includes hot porridge, freshly made fried eggs, and omelets, so even Chinese guests can have a satisfying meal.

Room is big and clean. We encountered a lot of issue with the safety box (no battery, already locked) and the follow up was not efficient until we had to reiterate we need the safety box to be opened asap or otherwise we have to wait for the next morning which we had mentioned we had to leave early for train. The hardware of this hotel meet the high standard expected but the software (customer service, communication between the staff for prompt actions).

The City Palace Hotel in Tashkent is a hotel with a beautiful old-world charm and a nice outdoor pool with a good restaurant. However, the experience is let down by several issues. The check-in process is very slow, the cleaning is below average, and the breakfast is disappointing. The hotel has a great atmosphere but lacks in key areas of service and maintenance.

our room was a bit otdated and part of the floor was always wet due to leakage the door lock was broken
