Die Waldschaenke ist sehr ruhig gelegen, wenn man die Ruhe und Entspannung sucht. Viele Wanderwege erfreuen den Wanderer mit sehr viel Sehenswürdigkeiten. Parkplätze sind an der Waldschänke ausreichend vorhanden. Das Frühstück ist ausreichend und schmackhaft.

Wir waren während unseres Moritzburgaufenthaltes nun schon das zweite Mal hier essen. Neben einem unheimlich freundlichem Service der beiden Herren muss man sagen, dass die Küche für uns das trifft, was wir suchen. Bodenständig, geschmacklich top und keine überladenen Tourigerichte! Eine tolle, wenn leider auch etwas kleine Weinkarte. Uns hat besonders das Wildsüppchen und das Wildschweinfilet beeindruckt. Gemütliches, etwas in die Jahre gekommenes Restaurant. Gern zu empfehlen!

Wir haben hier mit Freunden sehr gut zu Abend gegessen. Alle Speisen - insbesondere die Wildgerichte - waren exzellent zubereitet. Schönes, klassisches Ambiente und guter Service runden alles ab. Wir waren auch schon im Sommer auf der Terrasse zum Abendessen und haben dort den Zauber dieses besonderen Ortes genossen.

Wir waren mit der gesamten Familie und einem Hund für eine Nacht in dem Hotel. Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und ein Zimmer war für den Hund eingerichtet. Nachdem wir uns Moritzburg angeschaut haben, gingen wir zum Abendbrot in das anhängige Restaurant. Wir wurden in das Prinzenzimmer geführt und war überwältigt von diesem schönen Raum. Das Essen war hervorragend und somit genossen wir die Zeit im Restaurant. Am nächsten Morgen durften wir mit unseren Hund zum Frühstück in einem separaten Raum. Das Frühstück selbst war ausreichend und es gab für jeden Geschmack etwas. Schlussendlich bleibt festzuhalten, dass es ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt war. Wir danken.

Bei herrlichem Wetter wurden wir vom netten Personal aufmerksam betreut. Das Essen war schon teuer ( warum kostet ein winziges Stück Zander mit drei kleinen Tomaten und Bandnudeln über 20 €?)…., aber warum darf ein Erwachsener wenn er möchte, keinen Milchreis von der Kinderkarte bestellen? Wir waren zu allen Kompromissen bereit, aber wir scheiterten kläglich! Das trübte die Freude und da die Preise schon hoch waren, überlegt man sich, ob man wiederkommt. Schade!
