I've been staying at Ocean Pointe since the early 90's and have always enjoyed my stay. I suggest opting for the 2 bedroom model for the master bedroom view of the ocean. The one bedroom units have the bedroom next to the entry door and exterior walkway - the extra money will be rewarded with the view from your bedroom. The resort is convenient to some of the best restaurants in the Upper and Middle Keys as well as Robbie's Mariana and other tourist stops. Even when our destination was Key West we first stop for the night at Ocean Pointe so as to start fresh in the morning to continue our drive south at a relaxed pace. This trip was strictly for relaxation at the resort and it fit the bill perfectly.

Perfect place at the keys. Big rooms, fully equipped kitchen. They have everything we need, no need to bring anything only food. Will keep stying in here at least once a year.

We were not aware that check in for this property is off site. We showed up and were told we had to go to an office a couple of miles away to check in. That seemed highly unusual to us. The room was like a small apartment, including a washer and dryer, which we liked. The view was beautiful. The bed in the bedroom was a bit worn, the mattress sagged in the middle. Our son tried to sleep on the pull out couch, but it was very uncomfortable, so just slept on the couch. Even with all of this, we would stay again.

Very old and outdated property in room 4213 of building 4. I can’t say if that’s the same for all rooms. Staff is nice and location is fine.

We had people from the resort enter into our suite without contacting us for our permission
There were a number of basic kitchen items missing (garbage bags, dishwasher soap, sponge or cloth for cleaning)

This was an end unit and had nice views. But it was not cleaned well. The sofa bed sheet had not been cleaned and there were no extras in the unit. Guest services did not have any either and said they would take care of it the next day. But we weren't sleeping on dirty sheets. We had to get soap and start washing them or wait until the overnight team arrived on the other side of the property. We did both and we were glad we did because they didn't have any extra blankets. We had to wait for things to dry before we could go to sleep. The floor and other things were very dirty too. You had to brush the dirt off your feet before getting into bed or putting your shoes on. The sliding door didn't lock either. The pool was very nice though. Great potential, just needs better cleaning!!!

We really enjoyed our stay, and appreciated the space with 2 bedrooms and a full kitchen. Beautiful property and grounds, heated pool, and private beach access. Definitely would stay here again. There were less supplies in the kitchen than what we've experienced in the past, i.e. no coffee filters for the full size coffee maker. The only real complaint would be the bed pillows, they were so incredibly lumpy and uncomfortable, it made sleep difficult at times.

Our stay was amazing, I wish I would have booked us for longer. The beds were very comfortable, the view was to die for, and the gated property was very clean and safe. I would not hesitate to stay here again and again! The private beach area was small but nice and the pool was big and heated.
