The chowder and smoked salmon were out of this world. The smokiness, freshness and flavours - just delicious! The fish and chips were fine but nothing special. It’s probably a matter of personal taste. However the chowders and salmon were worth every penny! Very friendly staff.

This was our second visit to the Inn's Garden Suites and our third visit to the restaurant, which speaks for itself. The suites are modern, well-equipped and comfortable. We used the double room and the bed settee, which was easy to assemble and comfortable. The suite was spotless. The view over the loch was a bonus. We were there for hillwalking and the weather was excellent, but when we were in the area last year and the weather was bad we found plenty to do, including visits to Oban, Kilchurn Castle and Inveraray. The food in the restaurant is excellent and the staff are friendly and helpful. You can book at the Ben Cruachan Inn with confidence.

A pleasure to have experienced both the food at the inn and the really clean and comfortable accommodation in one of the Garden Suites. We spent 3 nights here and the staff could not do enough to help, putting themselves out and going the extra mile to make your stay a fantastic experience. The was great, these guys have won several gastro pub awards and you can see why. We will definitely be returning...

We are just home from a lovely couple of days here to celebrate Hogmanay. The staff are all amazing and absolutely couldn't do enough for you. Beautiful setting, lovely food and good drinks. The rooms are immaculate, nothing fancy but all modern and clean. We also got a lovely welcome pack. Also very doggy friendly. Thank you for making our new year celebrations special

I dined here with a friend as we were staying local. I had the Parsnip Curried Soup, Brisket Ruben, followed by the ice cream, my friend had the Monkfish followed by the chocolate Brownie. We loved the food. The 2 lads serving were friendly and efficient. We ate around 4pm and were so happy to find somewhere serving food at that time of day, 3pmn onwards, as we were travelling back from Oban to our hotel on Loch Awe side. I had been here back in May with a group of 8, I don't remember if I posted a review at the time, but my group were also very happy then too. There is a wide and varied menu, with a few Indian inspired choices. We visited the nearby St Conan's Kirk Christmas Tree festival, on another day.

Well located for various excursions. Lovely sights to see. Accommodation clean, spacious and staff helpful and friendly. Food excellent and service prompt and dining and bar area well designed and set up. Would definitely recommend.
