Quirky hotel that is not for everyone's taste. The lobby is totally separated from building that lodges the rooms so you have to check in and walk outside to the street to go up to your room. The door to the building was always unlocked and most of the times widely open so anyone could walk in without the front desk supervision. I felt a bit unsafe because of that. Check in was easy and friendly - free beer offered, coffee and popcorn available all day. No restaurant in the building so you'll have to walk down the street to go for breakfast. A bit of an inconvenience. Food was ok, restaurant staff not very friendly. No elevator in the building - you'll have drag your luggage up and down the stairs. Quirky decoration. Small room, good bathroom with wonderful shower and toiletries, but no facial tissue (go figure!). Comfortable bed, AC works, weird smell in room, window can be open though. Had a room facing the main Street, which was very busy and noisy. Curtain over bed didn't come all the way down bc of light fixture so light was in my eyes very early in the morning waking me up . No wardrobe or closet to put your clothes in - you just hang them in an open area. Sink outside the bathroom with no light above it so good luck shaving or putting make up on!! Very bizarre. Small fridge in room, safe, one free bottle of water a day. No slippers nor robes. Loud guests in hallway during night - it's not the hotel's fault but perhaps because the bldg where rooms are us separate from front desk, guests are not being watched. Friendly staff, great location overall. But too expensive for the level of quality it offers. Ok for a very short stay.
