"We stayed at the David Intercontinental as a large family group and had an amazing, unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond — always smiling, attentive, and incredibly accommodating. No request was too much trouble, and we genuinely felt they wanted us to just relax and have fun. I had the opportunity to meet the manager Franco to share my positive feedback. It is clear from speaking with him that his passion to make the hotel experience memorable for every guest has been instilled in all of his hotel staff. The club lounge was a real highlight, offering a comfortable and welcoming space with excellent food and service. Breakfast was outstanding: a huge selection, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. The pool area was perfect for both kids and adults to unwind with superb sea views, and like the rooms everything was spotless and well-maintained. Though it's a large 5-star hotel, it has the warm, personalised feel of a boutique thanks to the exceptional service. We’ll definitely be returning!"

"So many mixed feeling about this hotel. We found it was in a great location and the rooftop was nice but the rest was frustrating. Upon arrival, the check in desk seemed distracted. The member of staff checking us in didn’t seem bothered that we arrived and after we paid just gave us our cards - no mention of where we go or anything about what we can do in the hotel. The room was ok but the room keys didn’t work 50% of the time. We had to try many different techniques. We reported this to reception and the new cards has the same issues (we kept the cards away from mobile phones so that wasn’t the issue - perhaps the door?!). The staff weren’t bothered so we continued to spend some time outside trying to get in. The next day we had our room cleaned and we didn’t get the right towels so we reported this to reception (via room phone). After an hour of waiting, we went to the reception desk and they said it would be sorted so we went out for a walk. When we returned, still no towels (3 hours after we asked for them!) so we went back to reception and we’re told they’d be with us. They arrived about 15 mins later. Shocking service. Upon departure, they took our room cards and no questions about our stay. Then in the taxi on the way home, I get a text asking me how my stay was. Wouldn’t it make more sense to ask at departure?! I think 2/5 based on the staff is a fair review. I would have given it 1/5 but some of the staff seemed nice… I’d say the cleaning room staff seemed lovely and always said hello to us so they made us feel welcomed. We also chatted to the lifeguard and he made some nice local recommendations. The security man at the rooftop (from Ukraine) was so lovely too."

"Absolutely the best Sheraton in the world.. And probably one of the best hotels in Israel. We are Marriott Platinum Elite and travel all over the world, including in all Ritz Carlton properties. The decor, the spaces, food, service and everything else here is top notch, beyond words. Mazal, who runs the VIP lounge is caring, efficient and just a wonderful host. Mary Ann in the restaurant - provides the best professional service even as early as 6 AM :) and all days long. Such a wonderful host. Lilach, one of the chefs, goes above and beyond to make sure guests are satisfied. The service in this hotel is absolutely fantastic, this is our new fave in Israel! Although it is August, this hotel maintains the serenity and cleanliness. It is impossible to find In Israel during this month. Thank you Sheraton Grand TLV!!"

"Spectacular property in Tel Aviv. It’s in the area called the White City and is surrounded by beautifully renovated properties, lively cafes, and fabulous restaurants. I cannot say enough about the staff who work there. They were helpful beyond the call of duty. It’s a happening place with the bar and restaurant crowded, but we heard nothing from our room. You must have a least one dinner at the hotel. The chef was pumping out some of the best food we’d had in israel. I highly recommend this fabulous and historic hotel (I had booked at the Norman, but decided to give this place a chance). I am so glad I did. Highly recommended!"

"The hotel is in the most perfect location, right opposite the beach which was fantastic but the rooms are so so so small. We stayed in a top king and I didn’t realise it meant that there was no walking space in the room, between the two of us and two luggage we had to squeeze out of the door which was not ideal. They could have utilised the under the bed storage a lot better. The facilities were fantastic though very clean bathrooms and showers and the outside area was peaceful."

"We arrived for a quick 1-night stay. Despite the 3PM check-in time, our room was not ready until 5PM. There was no effort from the receptionist to try and accommodate us in a different room. So, we had no option but to wait in the lobby until we were finally allocated room 409, which is supposed to be an "upgraded" Deluxe room. The room was tiny. It featured a "view" to a wall, a connecting door, a queen bed with blood-stained sheets (see photo), a small TV, a safe, Nespresso machine, an empty mini bar, a table and chair. The shower was poorly lit with a toilet, a sink and a leaking shower with a strong water pressure (no bath tub). The bathroom amenities included some generic shampoo and shower gel. The hotel's only restaurant was closed, as was the rooftop bar, so there was no possibility to get a drink or bite to eat in the evening. This was our 3rd or 4th stay at the hotel and it had certainly lost its initial charm, nor can it be considered a 5-star hotel, as it's a 3-star one, at best. Bottom line - what used to be a nice quirky hotel deteriorated into its current mess with an aging hardware and an indifferent staff to match. "

"The Breakfast is excellent with a large well prepared selection. Definitely a highlight. The Gym is useless, if wishing to perform resistance training. The Weights for the Smith Machine is a laughing stock and looks as though it's something even people living in Gaza would reject. All very old and missing the rubber surround as it's fallen off over the decades. The room is quite basic, with NO hairdryer, NO USB outlets and NO PowerPoints in the Bathroom."

"The elevator system takes a few minutes to get used too. Several rooms per floor so it's quite maze like. I saw a cockroach in the bathroom. It's an old place and bit overpriced. Overall it's a basic budget spot with a good location. Worked in a pinch but there are better options around it for the same price."

"We stayed at the property for business and arrived the day before the most recent incidents happened in Tel Aviv. It has to be said that the hotel staff are amazing, super helpful, always there to help, seek out solutions and they truly have heart for their guests. The property itself is amazing, clean, peaceful, familial and cute. The beds are great, the showers are hot and its just, an amazing experience. You feel like you are part of a family away from home. When the reception comes and shares their meal with you, who still does that? It was GREAT, nothing to say, just positive vibes and we now have a family away from home! FANTASTIC"
