This is by far the nicest hotel we have stayed at so far on Flores Island. The rooms are new and modern and two have balconies overlooking the jungle and gardens below. The staff are also excellent - friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend the oasis in the busy city of Ruteng.

Nice little haven of peace in the middle of a luxuriant garden. The rooms are comfortable and the small balcony offers a magnificent view on the vegetation. We received a warm welcome from the hosts. I highly recommend

My sons (aged 11 and 9) and myself had a very comfortable stay at Ara Garden Inn. The quality of the accommodation is excellent – we had a really nice hot shower, spacious rooms, comfortable beds and tea making facilities. The breakfast was very nice and the gardens are a real pleasure. The owners are absolutely lovely and speak very good English. Ruteng itself is very underated. We stayed for a couple of nights and really enjoyed some beautiful treks there through gorgeous countryside.

A modern, comfortable room with balcony looking to lush vegetation. The hotel is out of the centre of town and down a bumpy track. They weren’t serving dinner and breakfast was an eclectic selection of dishes put in front of us. Tasty but too much. A long, scenic drive from Labuan Bajo, the mountain road is very twisty. If you are prone to car sickness take preventative measures.

Very beautiful area, super friendly staff at the hotel. clean and comfortable rooms, The city of Ruteng has many nice places to eat. Dont forget to visit the coffee plantation . Flores is an amazing beautiful Island .

Nous avons beaucoup aimé passer deux nuits dans ce magnifique hôtel situé au-dessus de Ruteng. Chaque bungalow dispose d'une terrasse avec une très belle vue sur des fougères arborescentes. La wifi fonctionne très bien et les petits déjeunes sont très bons. Nous avons beaucoup aimé également le personnel très serviable. L'un des jeunes hommes de l'accueil nous a conduits toute une journée vers les rizières en toiles d'araignées, et dans la grotte où a été découvert homo floresiensis, ainsi que dans un bon restaurant le soir. Il nous a trouvé pour le lendemain un chauffeur et une voiture pour nous emmener le lendemain à Labuan Bajo, à un tarif très raisonnable. Du fait de son éloignement du centre-ville, il est nécessaire de disposer d’un moyen de locomotion, ou d’en trouver un grâce à l’hôtel.
