Best Hotels in Tersephanou, Cyprus

This is our 2nd time we have stayed at this hotel, & I have rebooked for next year to stay here. Staff are very helpful & polite, It is very clean can't any faults. for us this hotel is very good location as we have family in Cyprus & not far from the airport. the only problem is the TV as I only had mange to get one channel to work & that is the BBC news, hopefully by next year when I come I get a better improved TV but its not the end of the world. (just like to watch some Greek soaps) who ever goes to Cyprus I find this is the hotel to stay at.

Since I am already an Accor member, I booked the Mercure Larnaca Beach Resort. My expectations were far exceeded. The hotel was recently opened and everything is completely new and clean! The staff is very attentive, friendly and competent. Definitely worth mentioning is Denis at the reception, super friendly and professional. Valentina is a dream in the kitchen! I would also like to mention the waiter with the longer dark hair - friendly, always open to a conversation. Overall the staff is great! The location of the hotel is about 20 minutes from Larnaca Airport. It's right on the beach with a nice pool area. We had room 404, very modernly furnished and the size of a normal standard room. We had dinner at the hotel 3 times - it was excellent and very delicious. There are a few restaurants and coffee shops around the hotel. A supermarket is 2 minutes away from the hotel. I can recommend the hotel and I will definitely come again in the summer. 10 out of 10 points - this is how vacation is fun.

I stayed at Sveltos Hotel in Oroklini for a week in October together with a group of 8 who were visiting Cyprus for a cycling week. I was the only non-cyclist in the group. We arrived mid-evening, tired. Check-in was quick and easy and we were offered a welcome drink. My husband and I were given room 215. The room was modern, comfortable, spacious with ample storage space and plenty of room to set down our suitcases. There was a large wardrobe and some shelves. The room had air con, free Wi-Fi, tea/coffee making facilities, large bottle of mineral water (which was replenished each day), telephone, room safe, large wall mounted TV, mini fridge, ironing board (with iron available on request, I think). Most of the sockets in the room take English style plugs without the need of an adaptor. The room had a small balcony with a table and two chairs. The temperatures in October was around 30 degrees each day but our balcony was often in the shade which was just perfect. Our room faced the main road so was a little noisy during the rush-hour. If you are a light sleeper, ask for a room facing the pool at the back. The bathroom was spacious and modern with a walk in shower, lots of shelf space to set down your bathroom bag, etc. There was a hairdryer and a few complimentary toiletries. The hotel’s public areas were modern and inviting. There was an indoor bar, outdoor bar (offering well-priced cocktails with happy hour each evening). There was a good sized pool and a children’s pool. There were ample loungers for sunbathing and a lot of tables and chairs outdoors for eating and drinking. There is a pool menu which was very good and well-priced. The restaurant is on the ground floor where we had breakfast each morning. There was an ample choice of hot and cold buffet. Dinner was €18 per person for three courses. We found that food portions in Cyprus were usually quite large. The hotel has a gym which was quite small but well stocked with a good selection of equipment. The hotel offers 2 or 3 excursions most days. I took 3 excursions during my stay and they were good and well-priced. The staff at the hotel were all very friendly and accommodating of our group.

We were absolutely delighted with this hotel. We booked a senior suite and it was stunning with a sitting area as well as a bedroom with a very comfortable bed. The large bathroom has a large powerful shower and a jacuzzi bath. The decor throughout was lovely and the graffiti outstanding. Although on a busy road road soundproofing in the rooms worked perfectly. Breakfast had plenty of choice and we had a drink in the bar one evening and it was comfortable, the service was good and prices reasonable. If there is a slight snag it is car parking as the car park is tiny. Having said that we were able to park there and although we got blocked in the staff were very helpful and made sure the car was moved. Staff were all very good and helpful and although the hotel is not right by the sea it is a short walk even for someone with a bad knee(which I have at the moment). In short I can not recommend this hotel highly enough and we will certainly be back.

Excellent stay at the best hotel of Larnaki .all was at height and the nice girl Zhanaka will tell all the questions will help with leisure and she is a wizard at all.Once again, great thanks to Zhanochka and Valentina on the front office .all will advise

Confirmation with Best Western plus Larco, Pontou Street was made months before my arrival requested to put me in room opposite my friend's apartment. When I arrived the receptionist literally told me they are over booked i must go stay in a hotel 5min away for one night and I they will offer me lunch or dinner, like half board. I wanted to experience Larnaca eat in different restaurants everday Luckily I was with a friend who is a local, she immediately said No because the hotel for transfer was terrible, tried another and she said No terrible as well. Eventually I was booked in another hotel for one night called Leonardo Boutique Hotel, George checked me in, he was fantastic. I will stay here next time because location is great and hotel is very clean. My evening with friends was ruined, even the person driving to the new hotel wasn't happy. What upset me the most about Best Western plus Larco was being ordered to go stay in a different hotel without apology. The first thing to say is to apologies and explain the situation. Even the next day when I came back to check in, the lady at reception was so defensive agressive speach, she just said they are just receptionist they don't make decisions then I told her she never apologised and then she replied oh im sorry. That already spoilt my stay. I thought your employer gave you the job and you must take responsibility, sometimes by just apologising, you are the first point of contact and depending on how you speak can make a difference to someone's stay. It was my first time to stay with Best Western and I dont wish to stay with them again.

Already 2017 we were very pleased with the hotel and this year too everything was super! How come every year to the Golden Bay and just like again 2023! Eating and location are super! Generally the environment has a high well-being factor! The tennis court is also a ham! This must be booked and guests can use it free of charge!

Big enough to be able to give you all the services and facilities you want, small enough that you are not overcrowded by the number of guests. Valentinos was very helpful prior to arrival and during our stay. Fani on reception was also extremely helpful. The hotel is spotless throughout and the pool cleaned every night. Would recommend a sea view room, the view from the other side of the hotel is not great. Good variety at breakfast (the water melon was delicious). Rooms are modern, air conditioning works very well and a good size TV, although not much choice of English speaking channels, but we didn't go there to watch TV. Very good size double bed. Not the biggest bathroom and the area around the sink was not great, but not an issue. Only thing we did not like was how busy the pool got at weekends (we were there for two of them). The hotel is open to non residence for sunbed hire at weekends and it is extremely busy and very crowded. Worst is the disco which is very loud and plays from 11.00am till 4.00pm. Perhaps a good time to sit on the beach! I would recommend the Lebay, just be warned about the overcrowded pool area, specifically on Sundays.

Stayed at the hotel for 10 nights. I liked everything - the room is spacious, bright, the bed is comfortable, there is a table for work and a refrigerator. The location is top, close to both the sea and the center. Minus - very small bathroom, cramped

Hygiene: The floor drain in the bathroom is clogged, the drainage is not timely, the sanitary ware is very dirty, there are many water stains, and the stainless steel has large rust spots. Facilities: The gym facilities are very good, and the swimming pool is perfect, but there are no charging adapters for travelers, especially Asians. As a star hotel it should not be.
