We had a fabulous, excellent value for money Indian meal at The Dog & Crook. Everything was very authentic. Staff were lovely. Also good yet very reasonable wine list. Looking forward to returning soon to sample more of their very tempting dishes.

Amazing , tasty authentic INDIAN PUNJABI food. Good portions. A variety of different dishes which aren’t available in most other Indian restaurants nearby. Great staff ( Coleen) and very attentive. This will definitely be our local Indian! It’s a little gem hidden in the outskirts of Romsey.. Keep up the good work!

A good sized room but not what I expected. The pub is a bit basic and the outside area unloved: dead plants in window boxes, the promised terrace was really a shared pub style garden. Instant coffee and teabags provided but no cups or teaspoons! Bed was a small double Bar staff member was lovely and really friendly but the place really needs some TLC!

Lovely welcome, friendly and attentive new team. Rooms are clean and comfortable for a weekend away. Food was nice and fresh and clearly all home made. A good selection of beers very enjoyable countryside break. Nice views from room 4. Will definitely use again.

Great location and pub . Accommodation was spotless and of a very high standard . Extremely comfortable bed and we slept soundly . Had a great view over fields and a little veranda to sit out on . Great value breakfast which set us up for the day ! Shame no foid in the evening at present but hopefully that will change soon . All staff very friendly and extremely helpful . We'll be back again when we're next in the area . Can highly recommend.

We had a lovely lunch here with very attentive service from Rishabh and the chef. Our three 'festive' meals were the salmon, the beef and the turkey, and all were excellent as were the desserts. I would definitely recommend this pub.

Friendly , helpful staff. Clean & well, thought out double room. FOOD WAS AMAZING!! We ate on Saturday evening & breakfast Sunday morning. Sml menu with everything cooked to perfection! Thankyou Chef & everyone at the Dog & Crook. Rob & Sarah

We stayed here overnight and had a super evening meal. The place is under new management and they are working hard to make it a good experience. The staff were really friendly and welcoming, the room was comfortable and the evening meal was a bit better than good pun food but very reasonably priced. We recommend the Indian sharing platter for starters, curry was great and the chef can cook a really good English style fish and chips too! Will definitely be returning on another trip.
