The hotel's location is unique, but it still takes more than half an hour's drive from the attractions. I booked a twin room with sea view. When I checked in, the front desk gave me a partial sea view room. I felt something was not right on the spot, so I immediately took out the order to check. , pretending to look for it for a long time before saying it was a mistake. But you have to pick it up after 16:00. Okay, so we went to the scenic spot first and came back to get a room in the evening. When we came back in the evening, we got a room that was super far away, and we could see that it was all houses (as shown in Figure 1). It seemed to be no different from the partial sea view? I responded to Ctrip and said that I need to contact the agent. The agent contacted me for a long time and said that the resort fee will be waived for the last 2 days of the 3 days and a hotel voucher of 100 US dollars... I can only admit it. The entire hotel environment is still very beautiful. I don’t know if it is targeted at China. I'm very impatient when I ask the guest room to pick up something and throw it away. In addition, the children's swimming pool is being renovated and the dust is very big. Anyway, I will definitely not come here next time in Oshima. It is more convenient to book a hotel near Captain Cook directly.

The hotel environment is excellent. Backed by mountains and facing the sea. It is equipped with tennis courts and golf courses, all with unparalleled sea views. The restaurants all face the sea and the scenery is pleasant.
The hotel has an internal open structure with views on all sides. The courtyard is decorated in oriental style.
If you book a beachfront room, you can watch the huge waves crashing on the shore, and you can enjoy the sunrise and sunset from the balcony. The room decoration and facilities are great. Just the area is slightly smaller.
The breakfast buffet is not cheap but of good quality.
The hotel concierge has a lot of activity reservations, but this is my first time on the big island, so I basically just go outside to see the sights and hike. Didn't attend, sorry. The first time I saw the hotel’s exercise bikes was in the lobby facing the sea.
This is a perfect five star resort hotel. It is especially suitable for staying in hotels, playing golf, tennis, and participating in various overseas sports.

You must stay at this hotel for more than two nights. It is too big. You need to drive from the lobby to the accommodation. There are more than 20 annex buildings. You can go to the Hilton Hotel, which is also a car ride. The Hilton Hotel is bigger, with free trains and boats. It is very fun. We checked in in the afternoon and drove to the Hilton Hotel immediately. Parking is free. There are many swimming pools in the hotel. We played a sunset and decided to play in the hotel the next day. Then there is the King and Queen Shopping Village nearby to solve dinner. The next morning, drive to the Hilton. Snorkeling is free, life jackets, boating, skateboards are all free, and it is directly connected to the sea. It is worth it. We originally went out to sea for snorkeling. The time-sharing hotel has a kitchen. It is recommended that you eat breakfast in the room. The living room is very large. There is a golf course and swimming pool downstairs. There is also one in the lobby. We swam in three large swimming pools for two days, and there were five or six small ones that we didn't have time to go to.

The hotel is beautiful, but the front desk service is poor. Three hours were wasted at check-in, and there was only one person in the queue when checking out, and a lady's bill was miscalculated. The delay was more than half an hour, and the guests can only wait. It is incredible that there is only one person at the front desk. How can such a service match the hotel brand and beauty? Because I was in a hurry, I had to pay my room card before leaving, the bill was not settled, and my deposit and compensation were not paid. I do not know how to solve the problem later?

The room was smaller than expected. The front desk said that the area shown online was plus the area of the balcony. The children's club can only be hosted if you are 5 years old or above. The activity room is not as big as the Four Seasons. There are many stones on the beach, which is not delicate and cannot be stepped on. However, the view from the hotel is still very beautiful and feels richer than the scenery in the Four Seasons. Kalei from Concierge was very considerate and helped us contact the car rental agency and drove the car directly to the hotel. Generally speaking

The room was big enough for a group of 5 people and equipped with all the kitchen stuff needed for us to prepare quick meals after long days. Ocean Club was nice. I loved the gym right in front of the ocean, which made me feel like running on heaven.
There were also beach gears and collapsible chairs, but we knew them stored in storage outside the door on the checkout. Beach towels are provided to guests at the office.
There was no housekeeping during my stay of 3 nights. I had to vacuum by myself. 2 cocktoaches came inside the room on the first night, and their dried parts were founded beneath the sofa, but we took care of them. It was okay.
Except some minors. I enjoyed staying at Hali'i Kai.staffI met were all kind and sweet. Thanks. I would stay here again if I come visit Bigisland.

Hotel is very nice with many swimpools and beach. But service is not that great and hotel breakfast is expensive and not good. I paid so much for each day and you don’t get too much service.
If you book early I think it’s still worth it to stay this hotel.
Location is very good, near by have markets and shop is very unique.
I would like to thank you Ctrip for all you hard work make our holiday very special.

I was surprised at how big the resort hotel was. There was a tram, but no boats. The service to make inquiries in Japanese ended in March. The shuttle bus to the nearby shopping mall was $5 one way, so I walked there (just over 20 minutes). The room was spacious, but the water flow in the bathtub was not so good. From the room, you could see the golf course and the sea. The grounds are large, so I got up early in the morning and took a walk, which felt great. The best spots to see the sunset were written on the map of the grounds, so I was able to see a really beautiful sunset. There were sea turtles and dolphins, and a fun pool, so I had a wonderful time.

GGuest UserThe ocean view was very smoothing and relaxing. The kids loved the giant pool and the water slide and we spent a lot of time there! The pool food was better than I expected. The breakfast place was also nice. Close to many activities. We went to the open market right in front of the hotel. We did the kayaking tour that included an exciting cliff jump, and the most incredible night time manta ray experience, all short distances from the hotel. Short drive to many tourist spots. Would definitely want to come back again sometime.
YYiu ChunWhen we check in, the front desk lady was being nice and friendly
Unfo you missed our room for housekeeping the next day and we came back after 6pm, called the front desk to arrange it and was rejected at first as after 4pm. At the end a lady came by and changed the towels.
We didn’t put any DNB sign on so it was entirely upto your handling, not upto our expectation for Marriott group in this regards
GGuest UserThis is a true outdoorsmen experience. I stayed in the Monkeypod tent. It was very comfortable. I had a very nice Queen bed with plenty of pillows. The tent came with a folding table, iron racks for hanging clothes, a lamp, multi-plug power *****, and WIFI. The porch had one chair and a table, and the nights were very quiet. The property shares a kitchen with on the needed appliances and dishware available as well as a porch with tables and chairs to watch the sunset. There are two showers, one in door with solar heating and one outdoors (still private) with gas heating. The property has a protected gate with code. Overall, a very good experience and I would stay here again.
GGuest UserThe Condo was in good condition, could’ve used new carpet and paint touch up but despite that very clean!!! The size the condo was perfect and we could see the ocean from the patio doors. The kitchen was well serviced with clean nice dishes. The washer/dryer was a fabulous feature we used!! The front desk staff were very helpful and friendly. Parking was including and easy to find. Condo was close to Kona Inn shopping and the bypass road used for Hwy 11. Would definitely recommend staying there!!! The guest book in the condo to write your own entry was so fun to read what other guests had done!!
RRaymond MoyLoved the service they have there especially the 24h valet parking they offer. The first room I got was not really well as it feels very dusty, but they were very quick and offered a new room for me. I wanted a balcony and upgraded myself to it. One issue is the minor noise of some kind of engine at night especially when it’s quiet in the room. Definitely will be back to this hotel.
JJotisOnKauaiThis hotel was a very affordable option that throws you right in the heart of Banyan Drive near other hotels. I believe you receive the full Hilo experience when you room at Reed’s Bay because they treat you like ʻohana, or family. I enjoyed my time spent there, and I would highly recommend this hospitable hotel.
WWEIFor only one night, we booked a room with breakfast, breakfast has two packages to choose from, depending on personal preference. Hotel facilities are slightly old, and the room and bathroom are slightly cramped. The surrounding environment is OK.
GGuest UserThe room was nice and American style, but they only provided new towels every day and did not clean it, which was a bit troublesome. There was only one ice machine on one floor, but it also broke in the end.
ZzaddyThe hotel is located right on the shoreline with walkable access to many restaurants nearby. It’s also a convenient 20 minute drive from the airport. The rooms were spacious and had all the necessities. The only downside is the nearby pubs open late into the night; you will hear people screaming/yelling and karaoke until about 1am. If you are on a lower floor, the waves crashing against the shore can get rough and loud depending on the tides/weather.
JJichinThe hotel is in a good location. There are several small restaurants nearby. It's a 3-minute drive to the supermarket. The room is not big but has a small balcony to hang clothes. The soundproofing is average. Paid parking is required. It's full after 7 o'clock. Check-in must be at 4 o'clock. Fortunately, I arrived less than half an hour early. I checked in and got the room card after sitting for a while. The beach and the port behind can see the rainbow, which is very nice. There is an ABC store under the courtyard opposite, open until 11 o'clock.
