A very nice, new hotel with a small pool, Maldivian-style rooms, stylish renovations, new showers and fixtures, cozy grounds, and helpful staff who will pick you up, drop you off, and bring you back. Thoddoo Island is small, but everything is close by, including cafes and shops. We went for dinner to Seli-Poeli, 5 minutes from the hotel. The hotel breakfasts are European-style: sandwiches, eggs, toast, beans, steamed vegetables, sausages, tea, coffee, local roti flatbread, tuna with coconut, yogurt, pineapple, and watermelon. Nothing fancy, but you won't go hungry.

The hotel is new, with high-quality renovations in the room, including plumbing and electronics. However, there were no adapters for the outlets. But the hotel renovations weren't fully completed. The staff was friendly and listened to our requests. The manager is very involved in the hotel's operations and attentive. Cons: 1) the breakfasts lack variety, 2) the towels aren't washed well, which makes them smelly, 3) the room cleaning wasn't thorough; they simply swept the floor, changed the towels, and made the bed. In other words, the bathroom and plumbing weren't cleaned. I also noticed that my manicure set was touched during cleaning.

I stayed at this hotel for 9 days. When I checked into my room, the linens weren't fresh!! Garbage and hair in the bed! They only changed our linens on the 4th day because we really asked for it! The breakfasts are terrible, it's just unsanitary everywhere, the stale food is prepared in terrible conditions. They don't post photos of the food on the website. If I had known this in advance, I would never have chosen this terrible hotel. Dirt and garbage everywhere. There's no kitchen - just a hut on the sand. The food is served by filthy construction workers. Disgusting.
