"The hotel used to be a good one but now is slowly running down. Poor maintenance (shower and bathroom) and no housekeeping unless you stay 3 or more days. Furniture is old fashioned and you can see the “age” on it but let me say the room has what you need, small working fridge, a microwave. Rust is on all lamps and desks. Welcome lady at the reception was very nice and the few employees was friendly. Breakfast just a regular one."

"This was our first time staying @ the express in Thomasville. Our room was spotless, the bed was comfortable and the shower was clean & invigorating. The gentleman at the front desk was very nice and helpful. His appearance was very professional and he answered our questions without hesitation. We will definitely be back!!"

"I booked two rooms in March 2026 for my 90 year old father and myself. We were in town for one night on our way to Amelia Island. This was a highlight of our travels! The restored home is very charming. I wanted to find reasons to sit in all of the different sitting areas- the parlor, upstairs sitting area, and wrap around porch. We had 2 different rooms, and they were both lovely. The home is within walking distance of downtown in which my father and I felt very safe walking at night after dinner. The best part of the entire stay was our wonderful host Joy, and the superb multi course breakfast she made for us. Delicious food and a welcome change of pace from regular hotels. This entire experience exceeded our expectations, and I cannot wait to stay again."
