Just home from a bar shift in Massachusetts. For some reason I remembered a class trip from a little school in the Woodstock area when I was about 8 years old. We were brought to the restaurant to practice edicate we had learned in our class. I will never forget the way we were welcomed or what a fantastic experience this was. I’m almost 60 years old. The golf course is in reasonable shape. Nothing great but whatever. In the event you decide to stay overnight in one of the cabins, please heed this warning, there are cameras everywhere. Park with 2 wheels on the grass and you can expect a $200 fine. Everyone has Ring cameras and nothing but time. They will tally up their perceived violations and hand you the bill. Long weekend cost a close friend $5200. I’m not a disgruntled guest, just presenting the FACTS. Take your chance but be advised, you’re being watched to the maximum extent possible.

We were there to play the golf course. Since we had been there about 20 years ago and really enjoyed it, we thought we might want to return. The greens were cut long, a few were sick and you had to slam your shot to get to the hole. The fairways were not as good as my lawn! On the first hole, I just started laughing, but later it was really not funny. I could brush this off if the fee was comparable. But $55???? Not worth it! They should have reduced rates! Or specials of some sort. Pro shop staff very friendly and helpful. We are good golfers and have played many courses. Don't waste your money on this one. Ps. Course is for sale. Great views!
