I was very, very disappointed with the Location. I arrived before 3pm on Saturday 19th April 2025, they cannot check into my hotel room, unless I paid £15.00. They confirmed email was sent, unfortunately, I didn't received the notification from the HOTEL .....

Plenty of parking and easy to check in with friendly & helpful staff. Lift to 1st and 2nd floors. Rooms good size and well equipped. Double glazing keeps out any noise. Nice selection of food at breakfast. Building is on a hillside facing south. It seems to absorb the sun's radiant energy like a storage heater. This means the rooms are very warm, even after the sun has set; on the first night it was still 20 degrees C at 6am. None of the rooms have air-conditioning, and leaving the window open with the fan running makes little difference. Dinner menu is pricey and service was slow

Cleaning top quality. Friendly helpful Cleaning team. Reception experience poor. Arrived at 14.30 and was ignored for 20 minutes. Phoned the phone number as listed on the app. No reply. Pressed the contact button in Reception . No reply. The advertising display offers 24/7 service. I think not. When the lady appeared she sent a good 6 guests away. We go to many Premierinn hotels. Normally they are welcoming. Not here.

Stayed here for a Friday to Monday weekend and although the accommodation was fine, the restaurant and bar were somewhat disappointing. We arrived for breakfast on Saturday and Sunday only to find hardly any food or drink available. Tables hadn't been cleared and the place just looked a general mess. On Monday morning we found it to be greatly improved. Nicola was extremely helpful and was very friendly and professional (she wasn't at work on the 2 previous mornings. She is clearly a great asset and other staff should follow her example.

Premier Inn seem to be getting things wrong at the moment. The on-site restaurant couldn't even manage a decent hot meal even with the small evening menu they now have. Breakfast was no better, lukewarm food and rubbery eggs fried in a really unpleasant oil. We were there for 3 nights & only ate in 1 evening, there are good, local alternatives. I got the impression that getting lots of Business customers is their new strategy and Leisure customers are just a "bonus". On the Sunday night only 40 of the 140 rooms were occupied. Apparently there are plans in hand to create more rooms on the ground floor where the restaurant is and just a small space will be used for breakfasts. Our room was up to standard, comfy bed and a good shower. The TV was a bit peculiar, the BBC1 HD channel had no audio so had to watch the SD version.

Room was lovely and clean. Extremely comfortable bed. Pleasant and friendly staff in restaurant and reception. Was disappointed with the quality of the cooked breakfast as it was Luke warm. Bacon wasn’t cooked as I would expect it to be. Every iteam of the cooked breakfast was far from warm.

A longdrive to Norwich then difficult to navigate the roundabouts and road system to get in the car park. Top floor room as requested. Decent sized room. Very nice. Comfy bed and pillows. Fab sleep. Leaky shower head seal, so drops of cold water while showering. Old style shower head. Could all benifit from an upgrade. Evening meal was a total fiasco. ****** Something out of a Faulty Towers comedy sketch reminded my partner of the ' Ducks Off" episode. Oven not working! Do they only have 1 oven! *No Pizzas *No Lasagne, *No Pie, * No Gamon if you wanted eggs with it as no eggs. * No pies * No kids meals * Then *No fish! There wouldn't have been taco's or anything else that needed an oven! We were not amused. Annoyed and fed up and hungry. Refund requested, coats on in bloody cold weather off we went over the road to the Hungry Horse. Service, food choice and staff were excellent there! Told at Premier Inn that the oven would be sorted for breakfast. Friends and partner checked if " everything" was on the menu for breakfast!!! before we paid. Cooked breakfast was sporadic, Only 3 minutes! to wait for Eggs, more like 7 and it was the same for black pudding, mushrooms etc. No continuity or timing. Told Pan au Chocolate would be 5 mins later, then 10 minutes later... No Pan Au Chocolate! Avaisble! Toaster was burning toast on no2 setting as well. And coffee machine broke! What a fiasco.. My partner was by this time, well pissed off. Me and friends having to tolerate a very annoyed man for the next few hours. Thanks. Will we stay again..NO
