The best one can say is "it's clean". It really is as basic as it comes. The room was large but poorly designed with everything crammed at one end leaving a lot of unused space. And don't waste your money on the breakfast. The cardboard box it comes in (no, really!) is probably the most nutritious part of the meal.

I enjoy staying at the Thrapston (Kettering) Travellodge. Staff are always very friendly and helpful. Rooms are always clean and it is outstanding value - with towels, comfortable bed, tea and coffee making facilities, and toiletries (shower/ hand wash). I had a quiet nights sleep for 2 nights, and slept well. I would recommend it if staying in the area. Much better value than other options. I also like the large car park, with CCTV for added safety.

We have stayed at Thrapston Travellodge a number of times over the years. It is only 15mins away from Santa Pod the main motor sport Drag Racing dragstrip of the UK. The lodge is ideal and is near to towns etc if req. It is very clean has plenty of parking, a Subway, a Greggs and the Burger king is open till late. Being on a service area site there is also a filling station nearby. Booking early is the best way to guarantee one of the quiet lodges rooms with the very comfortable beds.

I like the staff at this Travelodge - and this is important to me as I am a little doddery. I do miss having an electric socket near the bed, as charging my iPhone & iPad would be much easier. Overall this Travelodge is conveniently placed for my journey and I always feel able to talk to the staff.

My car broke down outside the travel lodge at the weekend. The staff went out of their way to help me and even helped with the vehicle recovery. They were so friendly and polite. Cath even text us to update us about the progress of the car. I’m so grateful for their help as we would have really struggled to sort everything by ourselves
