Helped us find a taxi, VERY late at night, for the following morning, and helped us with other transport issues. A mine of info about the town and region, & in general great to talk to. "I stay in many premier inn’s throughout the year and I can honestly say this is the worst one I have stayed in, I have been staying here for over a month, getting your room cleaned is a joke you have to continually ask for a room cleaned is (3 days in a row before it was cleaned) restaurant is not much better been closed 4 days out the month once because the “chef” was grumpy so they were only excepting pre-paid. Most of the staff are friendly but you can be easily forgotten in the restaurant and have to shout to get your order taken or even get the drink you have ordered, management should not be in their job as the place is very very poorly run and if they can’t manage their staff correctly in the busy season the chain should replace them"

"We just needed a cheap bed for the night so we were near the port for an early ferry. We've stayed in backpackers places before so didn't think twice. We received a grumpy welcome although my husband said he was as nice as pie to him a little later - didn't stop me.feeli.g uncomfortable staying there after that. The room was basic but we were expecting that however I didn't appreciate the stain on the sheet. Otherwise, everything you need for a cheap bed for the night."
