Pan Pacific Tianjin

1/ The location is unbeatable, right next to JinGang Bridge. You step out and see the Tianjin Eye, and the night view is absolutely stunning! 2/ The hotel itself is grand. Even though it's 10 years old, the interior is well-maintained and clean, showing only a sense of history, not dilapidation. You'll need adapters for outlets as there are no USB or Type-C ports. 3/ The service attitude and attentiveness are top-notch! From pre-check-in communication to extending our stay, card payments, and license plate registration, Manager Du (Amily) was simply exceptional – enthusiastic and incredibly thoughtful. The receptionist, Elsa, was also a very warm and welcoming young lady! 4/ The breakfast spread is abundant; I highly recommend booking a room with breakfast included. 5/ The most amazing thing was that since there were three of us, they gave us a complimentary upgrade from a 40+ sqm room directly to a 76 sqm suite! The stay experience was fantastic, with four windows in the room on the 8th floor, directly facing the Haihe River!

Had a fantastic short trip to Tianjin! The hotel's environment is lovely, right next to the Haihe River scenic area. The room size was also quite spacious. From check-in to check-out, all services were on point. If I have the chance to visit again, I would definitely choose to stay here again.

This hotel is quite old, like an aging gentleman; though well-dressed, it lacks vitality and can't keep up with the needs of younger guests. The room is large, but the facilities are outdated. The floor tiles have yellow rust stains, and the wooden furniture is peeling. The curtains need to be drawn manually, not with the common electric system. The TV screen is small and doesn't support casting. The towels and bath towels are old, thin, and feel like they've been washed tens of thousands of times. The room with a view has a chaise lounge, but it's positioned by the window and cuts off the entire view. You can see ships moving on the Hai River at night, which is decent. The bath towels are heavy and large, making them inconvenient to use. The food delivery robot, however, is quite fast. I didn't order breakfast, so I can't comment on its quality.

The location is absolutely fantastic! Right downstairs by the bridge is the best spot to photograph the Tianjin Eye, and just a few hundred meters ahead is the Haihe Wharf. The Dabei Temple is also nearby. Across the road from the hotel's side entrance is the Ancient Culture Street, packed with all sorts of snacks and delicious food. There are also several famous old restaurants around the hotel, like Yifashun and Yanchunlou. It was perfect for our family of six, especially during the hot weather when we didn't want to venture far. We could just stroll and eat nearby, then head back to the hotel to rest when we got tired. The whole trip was effortless, allowing both the kids and the elderly to get plenty of rest. Highly recommended!

The location is excellent! You can watch people dive from your room, and it's right across from Ancient Culture Street. At night, you can step out and see the Tianjin Eye. They even upgraded our room for free during the summer. My child said they want to stay here again next time!

It's summer vacation, so we brought our child to stay at the Pan Pacific Tianjin. At the restaurant, we met supervisor Tang Qian. I mentioned that my child wasn't able to wake up and asked if I could get a takeaway. Supervisor Tang Qian immediately helped me with a takeaway box and thoughtfully prepared breakfast for my little one. It was a wonderful experience.

This hotel truly embodies exceptional service and attention to detail, even allowing guests to enjoy river views from their beds. My stay genuinely exceeded expectations, and I must commend the front desk, concierge, and especially the team led by the duty manager, Emily Du. From the moment we entered, the concierge warmly greeted us and thoughtfully introduced the hotel's features. The front desk agent, with a lovely smile, efficiently handled our check-in. What was even more considerate was the front desk duty manager informing us that seasonal welcome fruits would be available in the lobby for guests to enjoy freely on weekends, along with family activities. Any request from guests was met with a prompt and smiling service. The hotel's location is also excellent, with comprehensive facilities and even robot services. You can lie in bed and enjoy views of the Ferris wheel and the river. Breakfast was also very good. Throughout our entire stay, whether it was asking for directions, borrowing items, or inquiring about local dining, every staff member was as warm and considerate as family. It's clear the hotel has put a lot of effort into its service, being both thoughtful and unobtrusive. The next time we visit this city, this will definitely be our first choice, and we will highly recommend it to our friends!

Every time I visit Tianjin, I always stay at Pan Pacific, and have for many years. The service has always been superb. This time, the manager upgraded my room, and I'm particularly satisfied – I even got to see the stunning night view! A huge thumbs-up!

The room was absolutely fantastic! 👍 This was my second stay at Pan Pacific within two months, and it truly felt like a home away from home. Ms. Viola Ji at the front desk was incredibly nice, welcoming us with such warmth and attention to detail. She even proactively upgraded our room, which deserves a special shout-out! Beyond the incredibly spacious room, the most pleasant surprise was breakfast the next day. I actually found a pudding cake, just like the one from Lao Mo's! It was near the bread basket, not particularly eye-catching, but the ingredients were solid, and the taste was a huge, delightful surprise. While the pool isn't huge, its advantage is that it's quiet and not crowded. It felt like I had the whole pool to myself. All in all, my second visit was still full of pleasant surprises, very impressive. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Tianjin. P.S. One more thing: my stay coincided with a team meeting, but it didn't feel chaotic at all. The breakfast quality wasn't compromised because of the meeting, which is truly commendable!
