I don't like frequent changes; I prefer stability. Sticking with the same choice for years isn't settling, it's genuine affection. Every stay at Pan Pacific brings that familiar sense of comfort and reassurance. This time, the front desk even upgraded our room, which I really appreciate! The hotel also provides bath bags for guests, which is a small detail but makes me feel especially cared for. The only minor issue I hope they can address is two water stains on the floor, which I've circled in the picture. Everything else was absolutely perfect!

The hotel's location is super convenient for food and drinks, right outside is Guwenhua Street. Yan Chun Lou is just downstairs. The bed sheets had a slight red stain, not sure if it was blood or something else, which is not what I'd expect from such a high-end hotel. The service was really good though; staff would proactively open doors when getting in and out of cars and also help with luggage.

Highly recommended! This is a great hotel. The staff are polite and problem-solvers. My only minor complaint is when the staff came to collect my laundry, they said (in a Tianjin accent, no less): "Don't worry, who'd want old clothes anyway?" She wasn't wrong, but please, speak to me respectfully. I was honestly speechless at the time.

An excellent experience! The front desk upgraded my room to one with a beautiful river night view 🎑. It was a very quiet, comfortable, spacious, and clean room. I'll definitely bring my family next time. There are also many great food options nearby, and the hotel's Chinese restaurant had delicious dishes 👍 Highly recommend! 👍

The efficiency here is incredibly low. I booked two rooms, but one wasn't ready. They said they'd call me, but I waited outside the room from 3:50 PM until almost 5:00 PM, and no one opened the door (even though it should have been cleaned by then). I called the front desk three times. The second time, they told me I couldn't book two rooms with one ID. I gave them three IDs when I checked in, and they gave me two rooms. Why would one ID be linked to two rooms? They just didn't seem to grasp the main issue. After three calls, I finally got my room key at 5:00 PM, which seriously messed up my subsequent plans. They said it was a 'river view' room, and while there technically is a river, just look at the photo. I booked this hotel specifically to see the Tianjin Eye, but it was completely unnecessary. I'd suggest indicating whether a room actually offers a view of the Tianjin Eye. The hygiene was terrible. It's an old hotel, so outdated facilities are expected, but the cleanliness was awful. There were hairs in the water glasses in the room. The curtains are manually operated, and it's been a long time since I've encountered pull-up/pull-down curtains like these. Plus, some were blackout, and some weren't, with no explanation. I only pulled one layer of curtains, and the sun woke me up in the morning. The water glasses in the restaurant were chipped; I almost cut my mouth when I took a sip. Definitely a bad review... absolutely terrible...

Excellent location! The staff were really welcoming and the breakfast spread was great. They also have a pool and convenient parking. The minibar was well-stocked too. I'll definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!

Overall: Average 1. The room was quite spacious, but the facilities were old. The hairdryer was not good (the Holiday Inn I stayed at previously had a much better Laifen hairdryer). However, there was a bathtub and a large bed. I was given a good floor, but the river view was only partial. You could see the Tianjin Eye if you walked downstairs. 2. The room was a connecting room, with a door leading to the next room, which I wasn't informed about. The soundproofing was poor. 3. Breakfast issues. I stayed for two nights during a holiday, paying 1100 per night for a standard room, which was double the usual price. Breakfast was so crowded that staff had to assign seats. Online, an extra adult breakfast was just over 70 yuan, but my 13-year-old child, who is over 1.5 meters tall, was charged an additional 74 yuan. Is this reasonable? I stayed at a Holiday Inn in Changchun for 6 nights previously, and my child wasn't charged extra. Here, the breakfast was generally mediocre, and the food wasn't as good as at Holiday Inn. 4. Regarding service. I didn't feel any difference from staying at an economy hotel. Given that the decor is old, they should compensate in other areas.

The hotel's location is excellent, making it easy to get around. It's right next to the Ancient Culture Street, and close to Fifth Avenue and the Tianjin Eye. The breakfast selection is quite diverse, and they even provide separate toothbrushes, slippers, and bathrobes for children. What impressed me most was the lobby service, especially Manager Du. I had to change rooms due to an extended stay and needed to store my luggage. Manager Du was incredibly helpful, warm, detailed, and patient. Also, the complimentary evening light meal was better than I expected. It was served in the executive lounge on the 29th floor, and it wasn't too crowded during Chinese New Year. The quality and service there were both top-notch.

I booked the Pan Pacific because of its location near the Ferris wheel. However, precisely because it's in the city center, driving to the hotel during Chinese New Year was a nightmare with constant traffic jams. To access the hotel parking, you have to go through the Ancient Culture Street parking lot, which is a single road, leading to very long queues. Consequently, I didn't even dare to drive out the next day, fearing I'd get stuck in traffic again on the way back. The room itself was decent, nothing spectacular but perfectly acceptable. However, during the New Year period, the elevator buttons felt quite grimy and greasy. The staff really need to step up their cleaning efforts in the public areas.

I've stayed here many times! The location is absolutely fantastic, super close to Ancient Culture Street. After dinner, you can stroll along the Haihe River and see the beautiful Tianjin Eye – it's a perfect spot for photos!

This is our third time staying at Pan Pacific Tianjin. A big shout-out to Tang Qian, the supervisor at breakfast, for her superb service! She not only met our needs but also made sure we felt well taken care of. The breakfast buffet was excellent, with fresh ingredients and attentive service – we were very satisfied. During the Chinese New Year, they even added Tianjin's famous local snacks, like steamed pear cake and tea soup, right outside the restaurant. The Executive Lounge had a great variety of food, and there was a young male server who was particularly enthusiastic and thoughtful. We were upgraded to an Ultraman themed room upon check-in, and the kids absolutely loved the giant Ultraman inside!

Great location, very close to Ancient Culture Street. The service was excellent too. Ms. Du at the front desk was incredibly warm and helpful, I was very satisfied. The young man from Shandong in the Executive Lounge on New Year's Eve and New Year's Day also provided exceptional service, I was very pleased. The room attendants were also lovely.

I specifically came to Tianjin to see the Tianjin Eye Ferris wheel. The hotel's location is excellent, very close to Tianjin Station, and within walking distance to Ancient Culture Street. Check-in is only allowed after 2 PM, so I waited for over an hour and explored Ancient Culture Street first. There's a food store nearby the hotel that specializes in Tianjin local products. The hotel's hygiene was good, pretty standard. The breakfast offered handmade Tianjin pastries, which were soft and not too sweet or greasy, but the variety wasn't extensive.
