Parkinn Hotel (Tianjin Railway Station Jinwan Plaza )

This was my third stay, and they upgraded me to a spacious king-size room. The room was thoroughly sanitized, especially the bathroom, which was spotless. The front desk staff were professional and always ready to help. The hotel's proximity to Tianjin Station is a huge plus, making it incredibly convenient for taking the subway, high-speed rail, or visiting city attractions. You can spot the hotel easily from Tianjin Station's Exit 7 by just walking straight ahead on your right. It's an excellent choice for first-time guests or visitors to Tianjin.

The room was clean and the front desk staff were very helpful, resolving most of our issues. Their breakfast was also quite good, highly recommended.

The hotel facilities are excellent, and the location is superb, just a 10-minute walk from Tianjin Station. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the shampoo is great, and the front desk staff are very welcoming. The iced plum juice was also delicious.

The soundproofing is poor. When other rooms close their doors, my room's door also rattles, indicating it's not sealed properly. I didn't inspect the room carefully upon arrival; the bed stool wasn't placed under the TV, and there was no hand towel in the bathroom. After dinner, I discovered a large yellow stain on one side of the bed sheet, which looked like unwashed sweat. Since it was too late, I didn't bother asking for a replacement and just slept on the other side of the bed for the night. I chose this hotel because it was marked as four-star, so I was quite disappointed. The details don't match the pictures.

This stay was incredibly comfortable! The lobby felt clean and grand as soon as I walked in, and the front desk staff were very kind and efficient with the check-in process. The room was spotless, no strange odors, and fully stocked with toiletries. The mattress was just right, not too soft or too firm, and I slept soundly through the night. The hotel's location is convenient with easy access to transportation and plenty of amenities nearby. It's perfect for both travel and short-term stays. I've already saved this place and will definitely stay here again next time!

Overall, this hotel is pretty good. It has several advantages: First, the location is excellent, just a five-minute walk from Exit 7 of the North Square of the train station, making it super convenient for train travel. Second, the rooms, though not huge, are very comfortable, quiet, and the bed was great to sleep in. Third, the breakfast quality is decent, especially the stir-fried dishes which were delicious, and the fruit was good too. However, a few drawbacks prevent me from giving a perfect score: First, early in the morning, a strong smell of smoke wafted into the room from somewhere, waking me up when I was sleeping soundly. Second, the lady cooking wontons in the restaurant was very rude, which really left a bad impression. Third, the water pressure in the shower was too high, making the water hit my body quite painfully. Overall, I would still recommend it, but I hope they can improve on the details, especially the smoke smell.

The hotel is conveniently located behind Tianjin Railway Station Square, about 300-400 meters straight from Metro Exit 7. It's not far at all. The only thing is that Tianjin Station primarily serves trains heading north, and there's not much in the immediate vicinity. If you're looking for a room with a view, you might want to reconsider. The upside is that the front and back of the hotel are residential areas, so there are plenty of options for breakfast and late-night snacks. Just behind the hotel, at the intersection of Huajie Road, you'll find several well-known breakfast spots, offering local specialties like Guobacai and Jianbing – all quite delicious. I stayed for five days and ate there for three. Across the street, there's an alley that comes alive with street food at night, full of lights and a lively atmosphere, though I didn't have a chance to try it myself. As for the room, it's essentially a larger version of a Jinjiang Inn. The hygiene is pretty good, and the rooms seem to have been recently renovated, so everything feels quite new. The hotel also offers self-service laundry, which is convenient. My only minor complaint is that the bathroom surprisingly lacks hand towels or paper towels. Every time I washed my hands, I had to go into the room to grab tissue paper, which was a bit inconvenient. The hotel's breakfast is pretty standard; if you're looking for authentic Tianjin breakfast, you're better off skipping it and heading straight to the street behind the hotel. Overall, once you get used to it, it's quite convenient. The main attractions are only a kilometer or two away, and a taxi ride costs just over ten yuan. I even extended my stay for another night. However, if you're hoping for views of the Hai River, this isn't the place. You'd be better off staying closer to the Hai River itself, as it's very lively and beautiful at night. On a side note, the two banks of the Hai River are quite interesting: one side is bustling with seniors singing and dancing, while the other side has young people sitting on small chairs, enjoying a drink and the night view. It's a clear contrast and quite fun to observe.
