My family and I had a very pleasant stay at Somerset Tianjin. The apartment was clean, well-maintained, and very comfortable, making it easy to settle in and feel at home. The reception (Alina) was responsive and helpful, which added to the overall positive experience. The location was excellent, conveniently situated along Nanjing Road and close to a bus stop, making getting around the city simple and efficient. Overall, we were very comfortable and truly delighted with our stay. I would happily recommend Somerset Tianjin to anyone visiting the city and would gladly stay here again.

Traveling with the whole family, we booked four rooms in total. The front desk was incredibly thoughtful and kindly upgraded our room types, which exceeded our expectations. Throughout our stay, the hotel staff's service attitude and genuine hospitality made our trip to Tianjin a wonderful experience.

Exceeded our expectations! The two-bedroom suite was huge, and the kids absolutely loved it. I really appreciate these older hotels – the design is practical and there's no unpleasant smell. The only minor downside was that the bed in the smaller bedroom felt a bit flimsy. A huge plus, though, is the small parking lot, which is incredibly rare and valuable in such a central location.

The two bedroom suite was perfect for 3 of us. We had everything we needed with a nice view, comfy bed, spacious kitchen and even a bath tub. Highly recommended

large space and very good view. The room is old but the space and function make up for it. The reception is very helpful and they call to let me know my delivery is here. Near famous hotpot. The subway is a short walk away.

The building was the iconic building of Tianjin 30 years ago, but now it definitely shows the age. The apartment we had was very functional but had damp smell so we had to open all the windows at first. The location and amenities are super good especially if you need an extended stay. The best features for us were the view of tourists area and the washing machine. I planned this stop to refresh all our clothes in the middle of our summer trip.

The hotel's location, accommodations, and facilities were all excellent! My 8-day stay was very comfortable. The cleaning staff were also very dedicated and responsible; kudos to them! The only downside was that the shower room floor was a bit slippery; I suggest the hotel add non-slip mats to prevent accidents.

The location is unbeatable; there's a traditional Tianjin breakfast spot downstairs, and it's incredibly convenient for strolling around the Five Great Avenues. Parking at 50 RMB per day is reasonable, especially compared to Beijing. The room is unbelievably large, but the decor is incredibly old, probably over 20 years old. However, it's all American style, with a kitchen, oven, microwave, bathtub, and two bathrooms. I particularly dislike the smell of cockroach bait… but for a family of four, the room is excellent. The price is definitely the highest in Tianjin.

The hotel facilities are a bit dated, but the furniture and decor are of good quality and don't feel old-fashioned. Upgrading the electronics would be even better. The apartment-style rooms are perfect for families, especially since older children need their own rooms. The staff were very welcoming and attentive, even proactively offering an upgrade. The hotel has a great location, right next to the Five Avenues area, a 10-minute walk from the subway station, and many restaurants nearby. I didn't try the hotel breakfast; my family said it was just average, so I wouldn't recommend it. The hotel is on a high floor with only two elevators, which are shared with the postpartum care center, resulting in long wait times. Overall, it was a good fit for us and I would recommend it to families traveling together.
