Facilities: A hotel of this size has no iron? Is the ironing service listed on Ctrip a bluff then?! Hygiene: The hygiene looked relatively clean. Environment: The environment was also acceptable. Service: Finally, about the service. This service was just awful. I never give bad reviews, but this time I really can't give a good one. Originally, I had a three-day itinerary in Tianshui and planned to continue staying here, but I had to give up on that idea. I had a wrinkled shirt from my suitcase that I needed for a meeting. I called the front desk to ask about ironing, and they told me there was no iron. I confirmed three times that there was none... I decisively gave up on extending my stay and chose the Silk Road Wanli Hotel next door. This hotel will no longer be considered for my bi-monthly business trips to Tianshui!

Response from Property: Dear Guest, We are deeply sorry for your unpleasant stay, especially since you had an important meeting and urgently needed to iron your shirt. We not only failed to help you but also left you utterly disappointed with the hotel's service. We fully accept your criticism and sincerely apologize. Regarding the ironing issue, we immediately investigated your feedback that there was no ironing machine and the ironing service listed on Ctrip. Regardless of whether the platform information was inaccurate or the front desk service was inadequate, it is our responsibility that you felt misled and did not receive practical help. We will review this communication issue at the front desk and conduct training to hold those responsible accountable. Thank you for your objective affirmation of the cleanliness and environment. However, we deeply regret that your decision to postpone your stay and affect your future choices regarding Tianshui. We respect your decision. Even if you do not choose us again for the time being, we will prioritize this complaint for improvement to prevent other guests from encountering the same problem. We apologize again and wish you success in your work and a pleasant journey.

Our stay was fantastic! The hotel was clean and well-equipped. There's a nice library area on the first floor, and the overall decor is grand and stylish. When we checked in, they proactively provided toothbrushes and slippers for our child. They also delivered four bottles of water to our room daily, which was a great touch! The breakfast spread was also very rich, with a good mix of Chinese and Western options. The local浆水面 (jiangshui mian - a local noodle dish), wontons, and roujiamo (Chinese hamburger) were all delicious. They had coffee, pure milk, and tasty juices that the kids absolutely loved! The location is convenient, close to both the high-speed train station and Maiji Mountain Grottoes, making it easy to get around by taxi. The first picture shows how we left the room when checking out – I wanted to surprise the cleaning staff when they opened the door! 🙂

Spacious room, clean, and a wide variety of breakfast options. The pillows were comfortable, making for a pleasant stay overall. The only downside was the parking, which wasn't very convenient. It would be perfect if the parking situation could be improved.

The breakfast was plentiful and clean. The noodles were good, but unfortunately, the bowls were too small and didn't hold enough soup, so they weren't as tasty as they could have been. The bed and pillows were excellent, and the room was quiet and tidy. They have their own parking lot, and there are tons of great food options nearby, like Malatang and beef noodles. The front desk staff were very professional. Both rooms in our party gave it a five-star rating.

Response from Property: Dear Guest, Thank you so much for your five-star review and special praise for the front desk staff! This is a huge encouragement for our team! We are delighted to hear your positive feedback on the variety and cleanliness of the breakfast. Regarding your comments about the small noodle bowls and limited soup portions, we have noted them and immediately communicated them to the Food and Beverage Department. We are considering replacing the bowls with larger ones or offering complimentary refills of soup/noodles for guests with larger appetites, ensuring you can enjoy your meal to your heart's content next time! We are very proud that our bedding and quiet environment help you unwind after your journey, and our on-site parking is certainly convenient for guests traveling by car. You mentioned the abundance of nearby restaurants; in fact, our front desk always has a list of recommended popular restaurants in the area (such as spicy hot pot and beef noodles). Please feel free to ask us for recommendations during your next stay! We look forward to your next visit, so we can have the opportunity to present you with an even more perfect dining experience!

Although the building is a bit old, the service is really good. There are many restaurants conveniently located nearby. On a sunny day, the Fuxi Temple feels incredibly spiritual, and the trumpet vines in the temple are just enchanting.

Great location although only found this by chance. (On the bus route to the Buddhist grottoes) Staff mixed, one showing no intent, others very helpful. I’m sure the info said restaurant, but nothing in evenings. Likewise tea in afternoon. Doesn’t exist

The room has an Atour-style design and is quite spacious with a good layout. Some of the facilities are a bit dated, but the quality of the disposable amenities is consistent with the price. Breakfast is quite rich.

The room facilities, cleanliness, and parking were all great. However, my room was right next to the elevator shaft, so every time someone used the elevator, the motor would hum loudly. I finally managed to fall asleep around 1:30 AM, only for it to start up again before 5 AM the next day. The front desk didn't bother to ask or inform me about this beforehand, which really doesn't match the hotel's supposed standard.

Response from Property: Thank you for your honest feedback. We are very sorry that the elevator noise seriously affected your rest.
