Warm March sunshine, clear blue skies welcomed us to this stunning location! An amazing Spa experience by the loch, before a simple check in to our Lodge room. Immaculate! Had time for a beautiful evening walk along the Shore Path before the tastiest evening meal and 'MasterChef standard' dessert. A peaceful, comfortable night's sleep, on a huge bed, and good breakfast in the morning. Wow! Will definitely come back and also recommend to others.

We were 3 couples . We stayed in a 3-bed luxury apartment. Fab accommodation, which was a great size or us. All bedrooms had ensuite. Amazing food. Lovely staff. Fabulous views. Peaceful. Loved outdoor pool which was heated and had great views.Would recommend 100%.Managed to do a good walk, which took about 2 hours.

We were lucky that the weather was warm at the end of December to get there. The journey was exciting but probably impassable with snow and slippery conditions. You are in a place with great nature! You could clean and repair the standard lodge bathrooms better. Please light the way from the lodge to the restaurant! Dinner was delicious and nice but more enjoyable with music, without dogs, kids and large groups. The best waiter is Alastair. Spa experience for 30 pounds could have a separate dressing room and private hydropool upstairs. Good home away from home if you eliminate some of the drawbacks. Good luck to you!

We had a great time, just wished there was an option to have apartment earlier, even if a charge was on offer to allow us time to settle, as it was an overnight stay, just felt pressure to book time for spa use and restaurant. I’m timed in my job everyday and wanted away from that. Spa was half opened due to one life guard, couldn’t have an actual swim after driving 2h 30 mins. Everything was spotless. Very warm in all areas, friendly staff, food was lovely, setting stunning.

Currently staying in the resort. I am left with painful toes after a visit to the Spa for a pedicure. The therapist cut my toenails too short as a result I have painful toes. As soon as the therapist had done this and I was upset and shocked by this, she asked what did I want to do? I can honestly say this is the worst Spa experience ever. On feedback to the Spa Manager she commented they look OK to me! No compassion or concern. As some one who has Spa treatments frequently every year I have witnessed lack of skill and professionalism and uncaring for the client experience in Portavadie. How can the staff really be good when they have a poor leader. Surely client experience is important. I will never return to this Spa and what should have been a relaxing experience and enjoyable treat I am left with a couple of really sore toes. It really has put a shadow over my visit, not my first visit. But definitely my last and unfortunately will never be able to recommend this Spa.

Swimming facilities and changing rooms dirty. We arrived at 12 noon as a group of 8. Changing rooms littered with paper towels, hair, general rubbish. The shallow pool had lots of sand in it and several stones. Lifeguards not present half of the time and when they were there they looked half asleep. Waited 40 mins to be served drinks in the restaurant. Although, the drinks were not served to us, a couple of members of our group went to the bar to retrieve them as the manager (I assume) had left them there. Several glasses had lipstick marks on them, no apology given when we asked for clean glasses. The same man had several disagreements with other members of staff, loud enough for customers to hear. I experienced similar on my last visit, very disappointing.

Excellent escape to Portavadie . Stayed in a wee cottage overlooking loch Fyne . Fabulous with use of the spa included ( infinity pool and jacuzzis outdoors) wow!!!! Staff all friendly helpful and breakfast included in the desk . Overlooked the harbour . Food was plentiful and served by such great staff eager to help . Definitely be back , lots of choices of accommodation too.

We stayed in a studio apartment, which we thought was the best laid out accommodation we have stayed in at this level. It was well laid out, clean, everything we required was supplied, and the bed was super comfortable. The staff were lovely and the food served was excellent. It was also really handy to have a small shop on site, in case you needed anything. It was a lovely relaxing short break
